This was the absolute worst experience I ever had. We were treated like scums of the earth they are racist and didn’t want to accommodate me and my friend. They were all gathered together in the corner laughing and Making fun of us. The manager lady at the front was rude and a joke and so was the so called little manager dude he walked straight out and asked me and my party to leave and stated we were not welcome there. We are frequent customers of this restaurant and have never experienced this type of treatment please get better staff and managers these people are a damn joke and we got kicked out wowwwww way to goooooo the manger didn’t even care to hear our side he immediately came to the table and kicked us out of the restaurant

A group get-together didn't have to wait to long. Well, that is where the good ends. I believe our timing must have been off. They changed waitress on us. The plates were served, some of us lacking silverware. Glasses could not get refilled, like we were left to fend for ourselves. The food was pleasant, nothing really stands out. This will not be one of our go to places in the future.

My wife and i stopped here for lunch as we were going to Fort Novasell. The atmosphere is spot on. The decorations are great. The food was fantastic and the staff was prompt, helpful and polite. The prices were reasonable. The location is great-right on the main road. We will return to El Mariachi Mexican Restaurant.

Food is great, however twice now the lady at the front has been completely unprofessional. I came with a party a few weeks back and ordered a dish you can get at almost any restaurant. The gentleman brought my food with zero issues. Friday I called to place a pickup order of this menu item and was told they don’t have that. I explained I was just there a few weeks ago and ordered it. She said they don’t have it so I ordered something else. My husband went to pickup and she was rude towards him when all he did was ask if he could change one of the items he ordered. HE WAS STILL WILLING TO OAY FOR THE OTHER ITEM. She threw the food in the trash and gave him a meal we did not order and I couldn’t even eat. Tonight I call to do a pickup of just something simple but asked again if they had the menu item I really wanted. She said no so I placed my order anyway for something else. She calls back and tells me “are you talking about this because I told your husband that we don’t have it and he yelled at Me” and I said no and explained to her exactly what I ordered and what it was and she said “well do you still want this order or do you want me to throw this one away too?” I explained she did not have to be rude as all I did was ask and explain I had gotten the menu item from her restaurant just a week or so ago. She said “okay well I have your phone number written down so I know it’s you when you call so I know it was your husband who came in the other night” to which I responded that she did not have to be disrespectful because I could take my business elsewhere.

All of this over a simple question. And we were willing to pay for the meal she threw away! Completely unnecessary

I Decided to change my order upon pickup-Due to miscommunication of a menu item name . Gladly offered to pay for it but the worker at the front desk was very rude and could not believe that I asked to change my order . Obviously not knowing that we are regulars here or were and have been apart of many large parties here . Possibly A customer lost over some chicken and rice.
