Their speaker wasn’t working so I get up to the window and the lady says I asked you 3 times. well, if you know, big Bob speaker, you know how loud it is.I said well I didn’t hear anything so I drove around thinking it didn’t work!. She didn’t care and shut the window in my face! I’ve been coming there for years, but I bet I don’t anymore

Outstanding BBQ, worth the 200 mile round trip. The ribs, pulled pork and brisket are all a must have. The sides are great and the home made pies are mandatory (even if you have to get them to go).

Wife and I ate here Friday for first time after wanting to try for years of hearing and seeing on TV specials. I'm from Tuscaloosa so never had before. VERY disappointed. Had chicken/rib combo with greens,Mac cheese, and slaw. Rib tasted like pure salt, chicken cold, greens bland. And whatever the green pureed mush they call slaw was un edible. Atmosphere was dead, 4 tvs not on. I wonder if they truck over the food from original location because I saw them getting food out of coolers and I never smelled any smoke from cooking. Maybe original location is better idk. Can't believe this has been talked so highly about all of these years. This location needs help.

We always drive across town because the food is better...NOT today! My chicken salad had a bone and they charged $1.50 for dressing! That was a surprise just like my husbands pork potato with no sour cream that had more sour cream than they usually do regularly! Their phone number won't go through either so we can't complain.
