ALSO, it tasted so good, I couldn't stop once I started ?The restaurant had some staffing issues so they didn't offer done in BUT they offered takeout which was awesome of them to do.I ordered the pulled pork sandwich slaw on it and the brisket sandwich with slaw on it along with a sweet tea.The meat was cooked perfectly and the flavor was out of this world. You know it's good when you don't need to add BBQ sauce to it. I did try their in house BBQ sauce though and it was delicious as well.The sweet tea was also good. Just the right about of sweet.There's a reason they have so many trophies lined up around the restaurant.Highly recommend Big Bob Gibson Bar-B-Q if you're looking for some real authentic bbq

We usually love big bobs but here lately it’s not the same! I went to the drive thru and ordered 2 beef potatoes and extra vinegar sauce. I did not receive my extra or any vinegar at all which is fine! But the meat was really dry, and I never thought I’d say this but it had a ridiculous amount of meat so it was kind of hard to enjoy the potato when I’m getting a mouthful of dry beef.

Loved this place. I am an out of towner from up north. My husband would describe me as a Yankee. I felt so comfortable here. Our waitress was patient and funny. The food was excellent... Loved the white BBQ sauce and the lemon icebox pie was delicious.

Incredible!! We're from the east coast, visiting friends and they took us to Big Bob Gibson BBQ and omg was it amazing! Everyone was friendly and the food was amazing!!! That white BBQ Sauce was awesome!A++++

Decent place for stuffed baked potatoes. The restaurant itself is dated, as is the dinnerware and dishes. Floors have years of use and ground in dirt, as does the dining area. It stays dark inside, even in the brightest sunshine of the day. Probably to hide the cobwebs of dust on the ceiling.Potatoes used to have a scoop of butter on them with tons of cheese and toppings, but lately, the toppings are less, and the potatoes are dry. We use to love this place a lot. Now, it works in a pinch. It's the ONLY redeeming thing left in Decatur, and now it's just meh.
