Pretty good, nice little space in the downtown area, came in late at night sfter being out all day so I was super tired but wanted to try another local...ish brewery. Decent selection of beers on tap. Though my flight almost looked all the same. Its still worth a try. They do have some food there, house made sandwiches, pretzels ans they also do pizza rolls which they serve with marinara.
GREAT SODAS, also love the mozzarella sticks and food they recently added! Oddly enough, very kid friendly, especially for a bar
Great place to grab a craft beer. Good variety to choose from. Have not ordered food here so not sure how it is.
Nice variety of beers. Outdoor and indoor seating. Not many food options
Beer was very good! Waited an hour for tacos 🌮. Just ok I would recommend ordering food from one of the nearby restaurants when you’re drinking there,
Both porters I tried were really excellent - very good beer. However, the atmosphere, the staff, and the clientele were not very welcoming when my friend and I stopped in one weekend. That's not something I typically even notice in a bar or a pub, but I certainly did at XEO. Very odd vibes. We did not stay long at all. I have a feeling it just depends on the night and the bartender.
Delicious beers and great staff! Stopped in on a Thursday evening to find they were doing music bingo! Great stop and great local beer!
No real IPA on tap and no coffee available in the evenings. What happened to XEO?
Whenever we are in Decatur we like to stop at Cross-Eyed Owl. My family was in town for the holidays so we made a stop here right after Christmas. It was a bit early in the afternoon but we just couldn't resist. They also have an expresso machine and can make super coffee drinks. The owner/brew master was serving behind the bar and he was friendly and very nice just to talk with. Always good beer!
We had the pleasure of visiting this brewery from St Louis for the Marine Corps Birthday. The staff was amazing and friendly and the beers were amazing. Highly recommend and wish we lived closer to visit the brewery again!

Best brewery in North Alabama
Lovely small brewery that is nice and relaxing. Can't guarantee you will love all the beers but the ones you like you will love. Always got something happening: food truck, bingo, comedy, music, exc... Awesome place!!!!
Fun community local brewery with a variety of good beers, snacks and areas to sit
Fun local brewery with good craft beer options. Would suggest expanding their food offerings or brining in a food truck, but beer and atmosphere are great! Pretty dead on a Saturday afternoon. As a hospitality consultant, I would suggest creating a program that is enticing to the weekend crowd.
I found the beer here to be delicious, and the barman Dale to be friendly and welcoming. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone visiting town who wants some local drinks.
