We stopped by JW Steakhouse while visiting Decatur, and it was a fantastic choice. The atmosphere is classic and very inviting—an ideal spot for both a quiet family dinner and a special occasion. The service was top-notch; the staff is attentive, knows the menu inside and out, and provides great recommendations on the perfect level of doneness for your steak. It is conveniently located on Marco Dr, very easy to find, and we had no issues with parking. If you appreciate high-quality cuisine and genuine hospitality, this is the place to be. Definitely one of the best steakhouses in the area!

Don't waste your time or money here. We called ahead to ensure an 8:00 PM arrival was fine, but the kitchen was basically closed when we got there. We never received our soups, the service was painfully slow, and my husband was served an overcooked steak followed by a frozen one. The restaurant is overpriced and the staff started cleaning the dining room while we were still eating. They gave us a small discount, but the meal was still a total disappointment. We won't be returning.

Just discovered this little gem of a steakhouse in Priceville, AL ! There were several people included in our party and everyone loved the food! The service was excellent and the waitresses not only managed to keep up with the multiple (confusing) orders but kept all of our drinks refreshed the entire time. However, the shining star of the whole dinner was the salad bar. Be prepared when you’re ordering because the portions a good bit larger than most restaurants serve. Well worth the drive and the cost!!!
Great place to get a stean n potato meal. Prices are competitive w local. Staff is friendly n helpful. Salad bar available w soups n crackers as well. Its convenient for travelers since its next to the Priceville exit on I-65. Keep up the good work team JW.

Honestly do not go here if you have A Large party. The waitress who served for a tab that ended up being over 1500 dollars treated us like a burden. She brought drinks, acted extremely unsure if one was mine. I requested she make sure it was the right drink, as it had obvious carbonation and the drink I ordered showed no carbonated ingredients. Then she says the bartender tops them with sprite. Interesting since YOUR menu doesn’t say that. She never came back to confirm if it was the right drink or not, and after 40 minutes when she came to take our food order I told her no, not until I get a drink. She thens says that is the right drink. And tells me I can talk to a manager but she cannot legally remove drinks. I HAD NOT DRUNK THE DRINK. Of course the manager ended up taking it off, though not at all with any kind of customer service to be seen. A joke.

Come on Jody . Bacon bits cost too much. I mean a 32 dollar steak that should cost 22 doesn’t give you a big enough profit margin?? You learned all this and what to have from people 25 years ago don’t act like you did this by yourself.

The atmosphere is cabin style with old western which i liked. I ordered the smothered chicken with dijon. The waitress or hostess shorted us 2 forks for our kids so my husband asked for one (he meant two so I just waited until my daughter was done instead of making a fuss) as I started eating, the mashed potatoes were good and so was the broccoli. Very fresh broccoli ❤️ however as i started eating the chicken, it was dry and it seemed the cheese wasnt melted all the way because there were pieces of shredded cheese. Not that big a deal. But I stopped eating after 2 bites because I found a red looking hair in my food. Lost my appetite so I stopped eating. Honestly, im probably not gonna come back here. Also I had a coupon for a free appetizer (up to 6.99) but all of their apps are $10....
