Wonderful, surprising find! Fast, friendly service. All the food was well prepared. Biscuits are light and fluffy, with the right buttery crust. Fresh, tasty iced tea. We will return!

We read the reviews before coming here and they were great, however my father, husband, and I along with our 3 kids were not impressed with the food. We all got catfish because it's hard to find good catfish in TN at a restaurant and we were visiting for the day. The catfish was super greasy and had no flavor and was over cooked. The only thing I really finished was my fried okra. The cake came with our meal and it was good, but overall we weren't happy with any of our entrees (my husband also got fried oysters). I got onion rings as one of my sides and they were too greasy to eat. I understand fried foods mean grease, but it seemed as though they did not try to drain any of the oil off of the food before serving it. I can't praise the staff enough though. They were excellent and super friendly.

If you pull up at 10.30 am and the parking lot is filling up, then you know you have hit gold. Solid comfort food, prepared correctly with a bustling staff.
Yes, it is the place for locals as you will see mayors, commissioners, deputies, senators, etc at any moment.
Be prepared to walk into a real southern community restaurant.

They never have an off day. Food is always good and fast. The staff is friendly and gets it right every time. I would go more often if it were closer but it is well worth the drive.

This is a gem of a spot for locals. Meat and 2 or 3 for lunch specials. Tasty country cooking. My 93 y.o. dad cleaned his plate of country fried steak. The pork roast tasted like a beef pot roast. Yum. Located on Hwy 67 in Priceville, top of the hill.
