Consistently awesome staff, great atmosphere, and AMAZING food. Even though it’s not on the regular menu anymore our waitress had no problem putting in my Super Pepp pizza. Absolutely delicious!! I also got the lavender mock tail with Deep Eddy’s and it was great!

Update . Purchased medium veggie. For the price they charge for it i had high expectations. I ordered a lot mellow mushroom in fl and it was always great.
But this location missed the mark for me this day on 12.21.24. I arrived 4 minutes after ready pickup time. I could from touching the box the pizza was cold. The pizza wasn't fresh at all and kind of hard. Utter disappointment. I can't believe they don't have a way to keep the pizza warm and fresh until you arrive. I've had pizza that cost half what they charge that was better. I really expected much more for the price.
The pizza is very unpleasant. It tastes like hard paper. I don't even want to eat the rest of it. Was a waste of time and money.

Food was good, bartenders were great, other customers were awful. The bar here is not a bar. It's a daycare center. Screaming kids behind you, hyper middle schoolers crawling past you to order Dr. Pepper. Combined with all the phones blasting tiktok, had to run way too early.
Can't come back here if they don't keep it civilized. A working adult can do much better in this neighborhood.

Love this place! Not Originally from the region and didn’t realize this was a chain at first. We were so Impressed with the menu and service at the Decatur Mellow Mushroom that when we DID realize it was a chain, we decided to try every one we could. We’ve been to one in Huntsville and one in Chattanooga, and while the menu was obviously the same and the atmosphere similar, they couldn’t touch the Decatur MM. I had the Elevated Cobb salad at the Huntsville location and it felt like eating a sad salad while everyone else enjoyed the pizza I really wanted. Not so at the Decatur location! Everything was cut just so right that every bite was delicious- thoughtful prep makes such a difference! If I’m ever going to bother eating pizza, The Great White Way is the pizza I dream about. The crust, the toppings… so good. My whole family also really loves the pretzel bites, especially with jalapeño added. The atmosphere is fun, but it’s a little bit loud for me- that’s not a Decatur issue, it’s an MM thing from what I can tell. Nothing out of the ordinary, on par with something like Buffalo wild Wings, but not my idea of relaxing. That said, it does make it comfortable with a bunch of kids who might otherwise be disruptive in a louder establishment! So when we have out of our own visitors with kids or big groups of teens, this is our go-to spot.

Enjoyed a wonderful evening with about 35 people on the outside terrace. Our server was absolutely amazing! I can’t remember her name, but she wore denture earrings. 😅 the pizza is excellent and the atmosphere is fantastic. I’ve never had a bad experience at mellow mushroom yet. This has great ambience. A must for those who love pizza and Decatur.

I had never heard of this chain until I went to this one. Had a small pizza and it was yummy. Wished we had thus chain up North. We ate outside and had a great time. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. I would definitely go here again.
Cool people absolutely amazing themed atmosphere the Halloween decor was awesome, and there's plenty of options and choices for literally anyone in your parties food preferences while in a really chill atmosphere.
