Food was good, and the place was clean on the day we went. Only issue was a mixup with one side that was supposed to have the topping removed to make it gluten free but the kitchen staff overlooked it. We just removed it and ate the side. My wife and I have an intolerance but not full blown celiac. Just a heads up for anyone that this may cause a problem.
Pretty disappointed with the menu overall. The pulled pork sandwich and the quarter chicken were very good but every side we ordered fell flat: cole slaw, potato salad, baked beans, and banana pudding were all failures. The red sauce was as well, too spicy and vinegar. Service was great, but sides seriously need an overhaul.
It was the southern BBQ we we needed the food was so good. The Bartender was amazing and helped us with our choices. She was friendly and welcoming. Its truly a great place and made us feel at home.
