My server was great . I think her name was Lindsey? She was a white lady with glasses and blonde hair . The food just isn’t as good as it used to be that’s why I stopped going, decided to retry it after a year and still left disappointed. The only thing that has flavor is the meat.

We had a delicious hibachi dinner today at Ninja Japanese restaurant in Decatur. We were there at about 5:00 pm, and wanted the hibachi experience. JJ was our cook, and he did an outstanding job, even though it was just for my wife and myself. It was a great experience all around, but JJ was certainly the highlight of the evening!!! Always fresh and quick sushi/ sashimi. We frequent here often and love the variety. The staff is always friendly and willing to help explain anything on the menu if needed. My favorite is the Ahi tuna sashimi and my son loves the salmon sashimi. They also like the Dragon Ball (crab, cucumber, spicy mayo, and panko, wrapped in a ball of thinly sliced avocado then drizzled with sauce).

Really, would not do lunch on Father's day. I called asked for lunch during lunch hours and they refused even though their menu said it was lunch time. Lost a customer since you want profits vs serving customers.

Ninja is a great restaurant to enjoy good food and entertainment from the cook. The hibachi combination is very tasty and you get plenty, but watch the ADD on meats they become pricey. Overall my cook was the Absolute Best!

Food is great. Unfortunately, management has crap strategy for customer service. Will not seat you (allow you beverages) without the full number of people you listed to join, present; Regardless, if it’s one person or multiple you are waiting on. I order a side of fried rice TG probably more than I should from here; at least once a week and leave their staff $10 EVERY TIME. Kind of embarrassing to recommend a family birthday dinner here to be treated like that. Miss me with that bs.

My wife and I did a take out order after eating the food we both fell sick, called Ninja to inform them of the food making us sick the person who answered the phone was very rude and told my wife to bring a Doctors excuse in order for them to do right by us lol are you guys serious?!?! We loved this place up until this incident, really and truly was our go to, but not anymore. I will not spend one red cent with an establishment that won’t do right by its customers, so that $70 meal costs you a life time customer. God Bless!

Food was okay. Tables at the hibachi grill stations really need to be cleaned. I didn’t enjoy staring at the old rice stuck in the creases of the table. Also didn’t enjoy the waitress giving us our check when the food wasn’t even finished yet.

They did an excellent job catering to our party of 12. All was good. Drinks stayed filled.

Update: Haven't been in awhile. They have updated thier menu and changed the dining room a little. Still good. Sashimi Dinner and Chicken Katsu tonight.

Just got my food, was repeated to me and everything, my boyfriend brought it home and I was given a chicken/filet combo when I ordered filet only. I don’t like chicken hibachi and never order chicken hibachi for myself so this was quite the inconvenience. I even ordered the dinner plate during lunch because I wanted a full portion. When I called I was met with a catty attitude from the manager apparently that told me I have to bring my plate of food to swap out the meat because they “don’t give out free food” as if it’s my fault they can’t manage to get an order right. I paid $60+, live in Nashville, looked forward to this, all to get told basically “maybe 5-10% discount I can give you next time you come in, but I can’t do anything because I need you to come in and swap out the meat” absolutely insane. I’ve worked in the food industry for years. My family owns tons of restaurants and I’ve never experienced anything like that. Based off that alone, wouldn’t recommend. To get told “we don’t give out free food” and treated like it’s my issue the order was wrong and I have to drive 20 mins to go swap out food that should’ve been right the first time is insane. I guess you pay $60+ for that though. Very displeased with how it was handled, especially when initially the tone was giving off “it’s your issue not mine and you can come here if you want it fixed”.
