I'm from the north side of Atlanta and participate in an annual dart tournament in Decatur. I visited Scruggs last year for the first time and had some some of the best BBQ i've ever eaten. I planned to eat there again this year but looked up regular hours and found that Scruggs was closed on the weekends. To my gleeful surprised they were open when I drove by. This is the best BBQ i've ever had. The staff is friendly and makes you feel welcome. The quality and amount of food is amazing. I'm hoping y'all will be open next year on the Saturday that the "Shoot for the Moon" dart tournament takes place. See you next year!

This is a busy place at lunch time throughout the week. The food is good and the service is usually pretty fast unless your order gets misplaced as ours did once and resulted in a 45 minute wait. Usually, you should have your food within 10 minutes.The ribs are really good. The baked beans are tasty. I'm not a fan of the slaw. The pulled pork is good, but it isn't anything outstanding compared to other BBQ restaurants we travel to regularly.The atmosphere is one medium sized open dining area with a couple of tvs hanging on the wall. There's usually news on one and sports on the other.

I recently visited Scruggs BBQ, and unfortunately had an extremely disappointing experience. Upon realizing that the payment machine had charged me an incorrect amount for a tip, I politely approached the owner to request a refund of the overcharged amount. Instead of addressing my concern with professionalism and courtesy, the owner was incredibly rude and dismissive.To make matters worse, the situation escalated when several kitchen staff members surrounded me in a confrontational manner, creating an atmosphere of intimidation rather than resolving the issue amicably. Shockingly, the owner not only refused to refund the overcharged amount but also went as far as to deny me any further service, leaving me feeling unwelcome and disrespected.The lack of basic customer service and the hostile response from the owner and staff were deeply disappointing. I strongly advise against visiting Scruggs BBQ if you are seeking a pleasant dining experience and respectful treatment as a customer.It's important for businesses to prioritize customer satisfaction and handle concerns with empathy and professionalism, and unfortunately, this was sorely lacking during my visit. I hope that sharing my experience will encourage the establishment to reevaluate their customer service practices to ensure that other patrons do not encounter similar treatment.

My parents went to spend over 100 dollars on food. Elderly she didnt know how to use the machine. Yall refused to help. It accidentally charged her a tip. the owner refused to resolve the problem. Refused to give her the food. No customer service!! .
