Our server was pretty new but she did a good job. The food was very good but not real hot. Still delicious. And I rode the ghost train. Which is a sour beer that is awesome. Great overall experience!

Have been in twice recently and both times we came in without a reservation. We were accepted and served as if we were a reservation. The food was extra delicious in the service is always really good. If you're looking for a place to go and eat at a nice place in Decatur Alabama that's the place to go. I would suggest a reservation for early dining

This place has a lovely upscale vibe and friendly staff. My friends liked their food but unfortunately mine was not that good. Overall I was pretty disappointed in this place so let me tell you why.For appetizers we tried the fried crab claws which were okay, the batter wasn't that good, the tartar sauce was mainly mayonnaise with mustard seed. It was served on a plate of lettuce even though we told the waitstaff about the allergy. We came here for the crawfish cheese sticks and were told that they didn't exist and had not for a very long time, now they are some sort of egg roll? The entrees come with salad which my friends say were good, they looked fresh to me. I tried the andoullie grits which were fine and a bit spicy.I personally had the lobster ravioli and shrimp which was recommend by the waitress, but unfortunately it turned out being awful. The dish was not as described as they added squash and bell peppers to the blurre blanc. On top of that, the onions that were in the beurre blanc were black and burnt making the entire sauce disgusting and bitter. The shrimp that came with the dish were way over cooked and tough to eat. The inside filling was completely bland. For the price they're charging it was an absolute disgrace.I tried the grilled tuna which seemed to have a steak seasoning on it, it was actually quite delicious and tasted like steak. The let down to the dish was that it was suppose to have carrot and shallots but there was just a few small savings on the green beans. As for the Pontchartrain, my friend enjoyed it, I didn't personally try it. The shrimp and fish looked cooked correctly. But as the reigning theme here, they added rice to the bottom of the dish and that was not stated on the menu.I did try three of the drinks, the blueberry lemon drop was very good and sweet. The tropical dream was okay but also had the wrong ingredients in it as they added either a orange or mango juice that was not in the description. Lastly we tried the momma's cool aid which was also tasty and very sweet.Dietary restrictions: They don't seem to understand allergies.

First time here and it was not bad. The service, I mean I'm not a regular but I guess it was what the locals expect. The bartender made a nice house special but missed the mark on a long island (it was straight up lemonade), sent it back and ordered just a plain ole whiskey. What they consider an ounce is not an ounce, FYI.The ambience of the place was nice. There was an old relaxed feeling there. FYI, the one bathroom downstairs is co-ed, definitely want to look at the seat before sitting down and maybe wipe it off.

We waited over 30 minutes to get our drink (beer) order, then another hour to get our food order in. I told the waitress to not worry about my food. I ended up leaving, passed my buddy $5.00 for my beer and the food took about 1 hour to even get he said. Once their food arrived, it was not only wrong, but cold. This place is horrible, under staffed, and I highly recommend never even going there. McDonald's is better.

Great food with a Cajun slant. Great local feel with nice menu which includes classic New Orleans dishes.

Everything was cooked to perfection, best stuffed mushrooms I've ever had. A little disappointed they didn't have bread.

Traveling through the area and stumble upon this place. This place covers all your needs. Upstairs is fine dining atmosphere and downstairs is upscale bar atmosphere suitable for any type of occasion. Service was outstanding and food was excellent! A little pricey but the food quality, service, and atmosphere was well worth it. Our group had the Filet Mignon $35, Prime Rib $34, and Wings $10 with a wedge salad $5. Protein was prepared perfectly and the wings were excellent. We'll be back when ever we're in the area again.
