Called Decatur store at 8:20pm and was put on hold for 8 minutes just to be told they wasn't taking orders. Smh never will I attempt to call again

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE. I specifically asked for lettuce tomatoes and onions with my burger, and Vidalia sauce did not get. I asked for medium well and got BURNT black. Asked for extra cooking sauce in foil of pork chops and got extra DRY pork chops. Called back to mention my issues the guy says sorry we're closed and I continued to explain my issues and he said hold one minute while I get the district manager and I held for 30 mins and no one ever picked the phone back up. I see several horrible reviews here but the only way something can be done is if everyone refuses to eat there. I mean you can literally go to a set down steak house and have much better and cheaper food also. To whomever ever owns this store please do Decatur a favor and SHUT THE DOORS. Let another business use the location that actually cares about there customers. # steakoutsucks

Whomever answers the phone for Steakout obviously has no intention of taking an order. She places you on hold and leaves you on hold. If you hang up and try again, she repeats the process of ignoring your call. This is quite rude and only happens at Decatur Steakout.
A few minutes waiting is understandable, over 15 minutes is absurd. I don't online order. I don't want constant unwanted messages sent when all I wanted was a meal. Maybe this is why their service rating is less than 3 stars overall. If it were mybusiness's, I would correct the problem, not make excuses for bad service.

I had written an original review but deleted it. However, I must say that the atmosphere was a bit lacking this time, and it was not really due to the employees. I strongly believe that the bald, older cop who was with his partner, and is part of Somerville police department, is a racist. He is extremely rude and arrogant. If someone is being polite or saying "excuse me" to him, he needs to acknowledge it instead of acting superior by not responding. It is unacceptable to have such negative energy in SteakOut. I would be very cautious if he stops you, especially if you belong to a minority group. He exudes racist vibes, and I am tired of seeing such toxic energy around in this day and age. It's 2024, not the 1950s, and people like him need to get over their racism. You are not God and never will be. By the way my soon to be husband is white so... and he hates racists just as much as I do :)

Been a while since I had been to Steak-Out. Food was decent, salad was a bit laking. But the cost has gotten ridiculous. $31 for a steak, potato and salad with a can drink. I could have gone to plenty of other places and gotten a way better steak for that much. I would have been very happy with the meal for $18 or $20 because it was convenient.

When I ordered I only got 2 different items. The girl on the phone, Laura, couldn't even get that right. The food was cold when it got to us and was missing the butter and extra rolls we ordered. I also asked for lots of salt and pepper but, not there. She also put the wrong salad dressings in. Normally I love steak out but this was horrible. She said when I called that she would send back the rolls and butter. We were almost done with our food when the second delivery came.
