Tonight was a quiet night to go. Our server was great and recommended the appetizer we got (white cheddar jalapeno cheese curds) which were delicious. We also got the truffle steak and mac and wings. The wings smelled amazing! The cheesecake egg rolls were good as well.

Loved trying the Truffle Parm Fries, Four Cheese Mac Bowl, Unsweet Tea, & Fried Cheesecake Eggroll With Ice Cream for my taste of my experience & it was all good & my brother tried the CBR Fries, Truffle Steak & Mac Bowl, Diet Coke, & Fried OREO & Ice Cream for his taste & it was all good too & it's our first time to dine in The Game restaurant in Decatur during the Carnegie Carnival Mardi Gras of 2026.

Atmosphere and food are always phenomenal! Have tried new items the last couple times we have come in and have not been disappointed! The service has been okay and the mix drinks no matter what we throw at the bartender have been wonderfully made! AND FOR THE PRICES… CANT BEAT IT!!!

I visit The Game on many occasions, my teenage sons frequent at least once a week. We went in on 1/10/26, arrived a little before 10. Was told by a very nice young man that they no longer offered axe throwing but we could have a seat and gave us menus. I offered to order at the bar and he informed me it was full, which we could see and definitely hear. After several minutes without service, my husband and I moved to a table directly beside the bar because it was full of what obviously seemed to be regulars. After a long wait, a girl approached us, informed us she no longer worked there but was helping, and the kitchen was closed. We ordered 2 double shots of gold tequila, and began to wait yet again!! The bartender never even acknowledged us, even though we saw him stand still and talk to a group of guys right beside the register several times. He finally poured our shots, that were delivered by the not employee. They were clear, no biggie, but were definitely not tequila. I have been a bartender for many years and we were served the watered down leftovers of what seemed to be rum or LIT mix. Absolutely disgusting!!!!! I have never been treated so badly at any establishment like this, much less this establishment any other time I have been inside. I live walking distance from The Game and will not be returning nor will my teenage sons in fear they will be treated horribly also.

Came to Alabama for the week for work and literally everywhere there was good food, but this place reminded me back home in Cincinnati with its Mac and cheese bowl. It was amazing.
The only thing that I would change about this place is to add a pool table or two

Good place to hang out with some friends, have some drinks, watch some football.
I travel for work and found this place on google maps, figured I’d give it a shot. Had to move tables after 15 minutes of not being acknowledged by a server. Food took about 45 minutes to come out, I got their brisket burnt ends sliders, they were good but nothing spectacular.
I was there for a total of about an hour and a half, for someone who’s dining solo that’s a long time that isn’t there just to hang out and watch the game, service just needs to be quicker from waiting staff and kitchen.
I can see the appeal though for just hanging out with a group of friends, may have just picked the wrong restaurant just to come and have a meal.

The food and atmosphere here is always top notch! Such delicious menu items to pick from, never been disappointed. I am so glad they're in downtown Decatur, the owners and employees are amazing!
A very bar-like atmosphere. I was hoping for a better food selection. I’m sure this is a very cool place for birthdays and parties. I’m in town for business, though, and it’s not a place you go for a great meal.
It has a great layout and lots of games and hatchet throwing lanes - just not my thing.

Had so much fun axe throwing after dinner last night! The chimichurri fries were INCREDIBLE!
Wow. Wow. Wow. Got the Brisket Burnt Ends Mac and Cheese!! The sauce for the Mac and cheese wasn't just some melted cheese. They make a roux!! It was amazing. The meat was seasoned perfectly. I tried the chicken fingers as well. The fingers are made in-house. They were soft, just enough crisp. They make their own ranch, which was also amazing! They say they do a chicken bacon ranch fries that I'll be trying on my next visit. Love the environment.
