Can't wait for this place to come back.Still salty about them getting shut down by paperwork, not their fault though. The city really whiffed it on this situation..

Super sad this place is closed. I visit often from Massachusetts. This place had the BEST chicken & waffles I have ever tasted. I will miss bringing my family here.
Off the beaten path. Food is excellent and service was fast and friendly. Parking could be a challenge.
Favorite Restaurant in Decatur! So good!
This is a really special place. It's in a historic brick building that's been remodeled beautifully. The menu offers unique versions of standard breakfast fare, and the preparation of the food is exceptional. They serve local coffee roast that's outstanding.
Excellent mix of breakfast foods for after church dining.
Great chicken and waffles.
Food is really good. Atmosphere is very pleasant.
Yummy food! Very different options which are fun choices. A little gem.
If I could give zero I would. DO NOT get the chocolate gravy. It is awful. I couldn't even eat the food. I have never had to wipe my tongue to get the taste of something out of my mouth before. It was greasy looking and tastes like straight coco powder. A new recipe is seriously needed.

I noticed that this breakfast cafe had 4.6 stars so I automatically made sure to give it a try. First impressions was really off putting due to the attitude that was given to us when we wanted to order our entrees first but they just stopped us and said the drinks were more important. But they seemed to be fine with other customers. I don’t want to say race may have played a role but from the minute she looked at us she seemed irritated. Food was overall good but it did not give off an at home feeling which is expected from any small cafe thus we will not be returning.
