Taqueria Los Machetes

We came in first, a couple behind us and no service. Finally, we were brought some stale chips and watery tastiless salsa. No one came to take our order and after a family of 5 came in and they immediately took their order we left.

Amazing

Todays Cashiers attitude STINKS, just like the restaurant was STANK when I walked in. I took my food to go. Won’t be back. Agua Fresca was good tacos were subpar

Placed my order online. When I arrived, they had no record of my order, so I stood around waiting while they prepared it. Not to mention, they weren’t even remotely apologetic. Then, I check my bag and see that there are no chips and salsa…So I went back inside to ask if it should have come with them, and the girl says no while looking at me like that’s a crazy question to ask.

Won’t come here again. There are enough Mexican restaurants in the area that if you can’t even get chips and salsa with your order and place an order online, you might as well go elsewhere. Especially if it says on the website that it will be served with chips and salsa, and it’s not priced any cheaper than any of the others. Just saying.

And I’m updating to add that the food is extremely mediocre. Soggy enchiladas, the beans are awful, and the rice tasted ok, but I barely got any…DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Since we entered everything was very clean, very nice. We come to work from Atlanta and I loved the food and they are very friendly.

I called my order in and I should have checked it because it was messing salsa and tacos when I got home I called to let them know but they didn't speak English then but they did when I made the order and they hung up on me the food isn't very good go somewhere else if your looking for good food this isn't the place

Im from Huntsville and came to visit Birmingham I searched food places near by and this place came up and i dont know why i didnt check the reviews. I waited more than 30 minutes to get my food. And when my food arrived their was a COCKROACH on my food. I felt very disgusted and never in my life i will be going back to this place

Not sure why this place popped up however not a place I'd ever visit again if under the same people. Haven't visited here in over 10plus yrs I'm not able to speak on the food because I don't remember it although I definitely remember the service and one word horrible.

Good Morning, I was so disappointed in Taqueria Los Machet I took my friend on a date and the waitress took so long to come and asked us on what we want, the food was cold when we got it I ask what beverage brand they serve the waitress said they didn't sell any but brought me a bottle of coke. What made me return to this restaurant because a friend took me to this restaurant a year ago and it was so amazing so we decided to go back and we got disappointed

We used to order food from there a lot, but the on the past three orders the food was not fresh at all… actually the onions were rotten and the potatoes were bad…
I tried to contact the manager and owner to tell them to please give me a refund on the last order but they seem not to care! I called a few times after the last order and they end up saying that I wasn’t able to talk to the owner for quite some time…
I will never come back and will never recommend!!!
