My first time eating here was a great experience. I got the catfish special with two sides( buttered potatoes and steamed broccoli) every thing was very portionable and seasoned just right. The spring rolls were different but very good with the dipping sauce they provided and I topped it off with the 8’layer chocolate cake very delicious and not dry…I recommend this place 9/10. They cook your food to order, I was not disappointed, hot and fresh the way we like it 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

This little gem is open during the weekday only. If you are visiting for the first time, try a sample of their gumbo. You can dine in or order take away. They even offer cake from different local bakeries.
The menu has a great selection and the owners make you feel welcome. So make a trip over to the east side of Dothan and enjoy recipes that were passed along from their family.

Loved the shrimp and grits. I could eat myself sick! My husband is from Louisiana and he loves this place, most places that claim to be “Cajun” he has multiple complaints about, but this one he was willing to go back!

My husband and I were traveling through on a road trip and stumbled upon this restaurant. Such generous and kind service from the owners who have lived in Louisiana and perfected Cajun cooking. The menu is curated with Bayou classics, and even though my husband lived in New Orleans for over a decade, he was impressed and found the gumbo and po’ boy absolutely delicious! The fried catfish was fresh and crispy. All of the food was incredibly well seasoned. The eggs rolls were the most authentic and flavorful that I have ever had!

Southern Louisianian here. This is NOT Cajun food. It's run by Asians (the egg rolls should have tipped me off) and it's just like the "Cajun" places up north. Disappointed to see this in the South. As to the specific food: the boudin was very soft, like it had been steamed, rather than cooked properly. The "etoufee" is some nasty gelatinous slop, as is the shrimp and grits. The shrimp poboy is made with battered rather than breaded shrimp. The chicken tenders are not tenders, but instead were cut up chicken breast. The garlic bread is just greasy French bread with a minor hint of garlic. Wanted a refund for the etoufee because it was so bad, but apparently they have a "no refund" policy. I insisted and they agreed, with the stipulation that I not tell anyone that they don't do refunds. So shady, and garbage food and service. Expensive for what you get. Go someplace else.
