We met some friends for a quick bite on our way to the Gulf. The service was good and friendly. The food was ok. I like spicy food, and the gumbo needed tweaked a bit but had good flavor. The Mardi Gras shrimp boil, salad, and catfish looked good. Everyone left full and enjoyed our time there.

We ate here for a he first time Monday afternoon and let me tell you it was so delicious we had the madi gras boil and the fish boat. Egg rolls and took home the gumbo for next day. The owners were so nice and the place was so clean we will be going back soon. If I had any requests it is I hope soon they will offer the vegetable egg rolls as I love them. And they make theirs homemade. Just vegetable ones would be wonderful.Again we will be back soon. Wonderful food and service with a smile. ?

Hidden Gem of the Wiregrass! Great Food in a Great Family Restaurant!We dined on 11-22-23 and had a terrific meal of Crawfish Etouffee w/rice. Nice slow & easy heat in the etouffee sauce that went perfectly with a nice hot piece of garlic bread. My wife had the Low Country shrimp boil. Sweet shrimp, andouille, potatoes, and corn. Spot on. We also had an order of fresh shrimp spring rolls and fried egg pork egg rolls. The spring rolls are a kind of Vietnamese hand roll. Terrific in the peanut dipping sauce. The pork egg rolls were tasty & crispy. Both were great & I recommend starting any meal there with an order of both. We also had pork fried rice. All of the food was great & the proprietor (Chico) & his "staff", his wife and mother, could not have been any more welcoming. We happily support Positive, Welcoming, Family-Oriented LOCAL businesses. This does NOT describe all local businesses, but it is a very accurate description of this Hidden Gem. If you are looking for great food cooked by a family who obviously care about personal service & quality, then PLEASE CHECK THEM OUT. Dothan needs more businesses like Amazin' Cajun. This place is Amazing, just like the name says, lol. I tried it on a whim one day, and now I go back on a weekly basis. The food is always fresh and delicious, and best of all it's a small family establishment. Chico and his family are all great, and every time I'm there it feels like I'm sitting down for a meal with my family. I would highly recommend this place, they will not disappoint!
