Over fried chicken! The flavor and part of the chicken fried chicken was good. But quite a bit of it was way too hard to eat.

We found this place on Google Maps and decided to drive from Ashford to go to it. The food was very good. Authentic home made mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese. Definitely not from a box. Gravy, chopped steak, barbecue chicken, peas, greens, fried rice, cheesy broccoli and rice, lots more.

It’s not soul food. That’s really the best way I can describe it. It’s glory/canned greens, Kraft Mac….some of the most generic tasting food I’ve ever had. I’ll never return!

Has been a good place to get to go country cooking. But went today around 4:20pm with my family and the food looked like it was left over from lunch. The owners need to get back in there and teach girls to give decent servings like they used to give. And get that fan off the floor thats blowing dust from the floor in the air on the food. Keep fresh tea made. Today it was low and too sweet and slightly sour. I really love the food and I think things can get back on track.

Bishops has been a favorite in our family for years! My personal favorite is the Turkey and Dressing on Wednesdays!

Love the trout almondine, carrot souffle, and baby lima beans! We live about 45 minutes away, but whenever we're in town, we like to pick up food to take home. 😋
