Its a great, welcoming, warm and friendly atmospere. However, my one and only complaint is that everything doesn't need red pepper to taste good. I had the fried catfish, mac and cheese, with Collards greens and cabbage with sweet tea and lemon pound cake.

Got there at 1:15, place was packed. Most lunch meats were gone by then, smothered pork chops, baked chicken, and one other were sold out. Still had fish n ribs though. Fried catfish were perfect. Yellow rice n sweet potato casserole were perfect. Great prices n options. Will be back for sure.

I tried Chef Kym for the first time today and ordered two meals: the Hamburger Steak over rice with collard greens, and the fried chicken wings with mac and cheese. Both came with cornbread.
The Hamburger Steak wasn’t what I expected, it didn’t have a homemade look or taste. It reminded me of something you’d get from a school cafeteria. The collard greens tasted canned or prepackaged, and the rice was bland, like it had been cooked without salt or seasoning.
On the upside, the fried chicken and mac and cheese were delicious. That combo was definitely the highlight of my order.
