Today on 2/22/26 I’m giving 1 star ⭐️ for the young lady who was helping us. Unfortunately the rest of my experience was not worthy of any stars.
I visited Cold Stone Creamery with the intention of using a $25 gift card I had been saving. We ordered three “Love It” size ice creams, and the employee who helped us was kind and patient.
When it was time to pay, we were told the gift card system was down. Unfortunately, I did not have enough cash to cover the full order since I planned to use my gift card. When the manager came over, I explained the situation and asked how they would handle customers who came in with only a gift card. I was told, “It’s not my fault that the machine is down.” She kind of snatched my bag back which really helped me make up my mind regarding whether or not I wanted to return.
I understand technical issues happen. However, what disappointed me was the way the situation was handled. A simple sign posted before ordering or a heads-up at the register would have prevented this issue. More importantly, a more solution-focused response would have made a big difference. There could’ve been several other people who also came in with only a gift card and no other form of payment. How do you handle this? The owner/manager was not helpful.
This wasn’t about the machine — it was about customer service.

Ice cream is great, but the prices at this particular store are astronomical. I was going to buy a triple quart for Christmas and it's $25.99 versus $18.99 at the Panama City location. I don't see how they can stay open as they are price gouging their customers

Older lady was very rude . She got aggravated when we asked for a sample . She wasn’t friendly or welcoming at all and they just had open.

This is the carnival honey cornbread I my jam I think. It was a amazing mix of sweet and salty. The blueberries and cornbread mix, definitely would give homemade cupcake vibes. If your thinking of trying it definitely do so.

My family recently visited this location while we were in Dothan!
The crew was helpful except the manager/ operator…I over heard her screaming at the staff and trying to belittle them!
She tried to make the cashier over charge us an additional $10 but the cashier clarified that wasn’t the right amount for the dessert we ordered!
I definitely won’t visit this location again!

All the low reviews are what I have been saying about this place for a couple years. Rude staff - they act like you are bothering them on their day on at work when you try to order ask a question. No samples - they dislike their customers so much, they refuse to offer samples and will actually get crappy with you if you dare to ask for a small sample spoon. Other cold stones do offer samples - I went to two last week in ATL both did. Why not sell the place if you despise working with the public?

Best ice cream in town, it's been here for awhile now and sometimes the line is still out the door. The service is always great, the ice cream is always perfect, and the establishment is spotless! Definitely worth the wait and price! I love this place more than some of my family members.
The absolute best ice cream & toppings. The flavor and texture is always consistent and you don't have to worry about the ice cream being too warm or icy. It's always just right

My husband and I had spent the day shopping in Dothan and stopped by for a treat before we headed home. There were several people sitting down enjoying their treats and several people in line. There was only one employee working, a young girl named Morgan. People just kept coming in. The line was back to the door. LET ME TELL YOU….Morgan was fantastic!!! As she worked continuously on customers orders she also greeted everyone who came in the door with a smile! Morgan made everyone feel welcome. She made everyone’s order effortlessly and got us on our way in a timely manner.
The ice cream we had was delicious but the most impressive thing was Morgan!! To keep her cool and a smile on her face while serving all those people by herself, very impressive.
