Found this place searching for restaurants while in Dothan. My sister and I decided to try it out since the best places are usually off the beaten path. This was no exception. Cookie's soul food would make you want to slap your momma twice. It was rather busy for lunch. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The dessert look enticing, but I was far too full from the meal. A great place to check out while in Dothan.

Great food at a reasonable price and excellent home make peach cobbler. A soul food lover's delight.Vegetarian options: I always get the veggie plate; 4 veggies and corn bread. Just don't get any better that this.
This is where Soul Food was born in Dothan, Alabama. Served buffet style with your food choice. They are always serving consistent Soul Food. If you never been you have to try it. Ms. Cookie is behind the cash register and always pleasant and cheerful.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy in or out.
The food was not good at all, the macaroni and cheese taste watery they don't give you enough food, plus food don't have any flavor. Not sure why they have as many stars but I would definitely not recommend this establishment. Every one don't know how to cook soul food. We were very disappointed.
