I usually don't leave a review but the food I ordered was not worth what I paid for it. I ordered the 3- meat plate...ribs, brisket, and pork. I ordered sausage ON THE SIDE. All the meat came in one tiny box and all of it was served COLD!!. It looked like the only meat in the box was ribs, pork, and they put the sausage in the box too. I couldn't find the brisket. The bread that came with it was dry and stale. The loaded potatoes were cold too. This restaurant could do a lot better. I can't believe that I was charged $5.99 for a piece of sausage. I still wondering what happened to the brisket. I hate leaving a review but maybe they can get their food warmers fixed because serving cold meat and potatoes can really make someone sick! I paid $28.00 and I wish I had gone elsewhere. And the coleslaw was almost tasteless as well. I quit coming here because the portions were cut so bad and the service was horrible. I thought that I would give Dickeys another chance but unfortunately not much has changed. I won't be back.

Always great food.
But I do want to share that I recently placed an online order and accidentally placed it with the wrong location smh. It went to the Huntsville AL store instead of Dothan AL so I called the Huntsville location and explained I had made order to wrong location. The owner tells me np just go to the Dothan store and tell them I (her name) said just go ahead and fix the order no worries. I was like oh ok wow thanks so much. Now if that had been any other restaurant they would have said ok will have to cancel the order and refund your card it might take 3-10 business days to go back to your card and I would have had to place the order again. 😡but not Dickey’s bbq they said ok np we got you now That’s what every restaurant should do. My 1# favorite places to eat. Thanks again 😉

First time ever at a Dickey's. Had a taste for BBQ, so I decided to give it a try.
I ordered the pulled pork plate with green beans and BBQ beans. I liked both the regular and sweet sauces. Really liked the beans! The green beans were ok. The pork itself was good overall with a nice flavor, albeit a little dry.
You have to go into the stock room to get to the bathroom, but they were clean overall.
Not much decor overall, and little seating. The biggest issue for me is by the time you get the one-meat plate, a drink, and leave a tip, it costs over $23. Hard to justify that for lunch.
Not a bad place to stop to get some good take-out.

Food was just.... eh. My first time here. Everything was just room temperature. Food should be hot when you get it.

Im a truck driver stuck at a hotel and did delivery. I always love this place, but delivery is not good. Not sure who gets this but the food is cold, no BBQ sauce, no silverware and no napkins

Overpriced, tiny portions ; and the food is absolutely awful . It's dried out and tough . I don't know how you mess up brisket but they somehow did it .

Terrible experience. We ordered food 07/11 @ 6:00pm. Ordered a brisket salad, brisket sandwich, 1 side of Mac n cheese, 1 large Mac n cheese, 1 large chili, 2 ranches and a bbq sauce. Apparently the salad didn't come with ranch because all I got was the 2 I paid for which only had a spoonfull in each, not even 1/4 th full and not enough to cover more than 1/8 th of the salad. We didn't get any bbq sauce. The salad had huge chunks of brown slimey lettuce that tasted terrible. The chili was just sauce and it tasted like condensed soup starter. It was inedible. No meat, no beans nothing just thick gross chili sauce. Food was not cheap and I feel like we wasted $40. Lesson learned.

We ordered Door Dash last night from Dickey's in Dothan, AL. No complaints with the timely delivery.
A rib and chicken plate. I can't believe how burnt the ribs were and the chicken dry as could be. Worse than leftovers. Especially how much it cost!! Highly disappointed.
Apparently, if you're not dining in, they send you the trash.

We were in Dothan, Al today and decided to go eat at Dickey's Barbeque, 2115 East Main St Suite 8. We went in and were welcomed by Mike, the owner and his staff, Kierra and Swai.
They asked what we were having, we had the XL pack as there was 4 of us. It came with 3LBs. of meat our choice (we had pulled pork, brisket and jalapeno sausage), 4 sides (coleslaw, loaded mashed potatoes, okra and barbeque baked beans) and 8 slices of toast. We added 4 drinks (they were the big yellow cups). We got all this for less than $100.
I am so glad we went there because it reminded me of the family get togethers we had up in North Carolina. The food was top notch. The brisket had just the right amount of char from being smoked. The pulled pork was excellent, for me the only thing missing was the family recipe barbeque sauce. The jalapeno sausage was excellent just the right amount of spice to meat ratio.
As for the sides, my son who doesn't like coleslaw actually ate a whole serving after tasting it ( that's saying a lot he doesn't do coleslaw at all until today), the loaded mashed potatoes were real good with bacon bits in them, the okra was cooked just right ( not at all greasy), the barbeque baked beans was really good too ( sweet but not overwhelmed with sugar). I personally don't like thick bread but their bread was light and fluffy and lightly coated with butter.
If you like barbeque and a great atmosphere then this is the place to go. Mike the owner even came out of the kitchen onto the floor and spoke with the customers after everyone was served. Kierra was manning the register very proficiently and brought out some of our food and Swai did an excellent job on the fried products, she brought out our okra. The 2 girls also made sure everyone there had what they needed. They made sure everything stayed clean.
Their bathrooms were clean and stocked well.
I have been to several barbeque places in Alabama, but I will say none of them made us feel like we were down home like this place.
We also had a lot of leftovers to take home for later.
If I could give them more stars I certainly would. 💕
