Had chilli dogs don't do it ! Untoasted bun with streamed or boiled hot dog that was cheap some onion and ground turkey or bland beef no sauce like just dry finely ground meat of some sort the fries were so so not great but not bad

I go here during summer break. Going to or from the beach. Once you go into that building, you won't want to leave. The Brunswick Stew is a great choice for new people.
Parking: Parking is good. If there is no more parking spots, there is a building behind it that'll surely let you park there!
Old on line menu prices showed Lunch Special cheaper & until 4pm. Got there specials ended @ 2pm. Apparently, not Dobbs official site. Needs to be removed. But!!!!!!! Loved their food & service regardless of decrepencies when Looking up Dobbs😊😊😊

I've been going to Dobbs for over 50 years because it's always been the best BBQ in town. I stopped today for takeout. I waited several minutes to be noticed even though there was no one else on the takeout side and two ladies were standing behind the counter just talking. When they finally deigned to notice me as a customer, I tried to place my order. The lady rudely said "number what", use the menu. They had changed their menu. I looked at the menu and noticed that the prices had gone up again. After waiting over 10 minutes (Why? There was no one else waiting for an order) I got my order. Then I paid. Even though I paid in cash, I did not get the cash discount. Needless to say, since the people were not friendly, the service was slow, the prices were up again, and the food is not as good as it used to be, then I will no longer be a customer.

Southern hospitality! Friendly service, delicious food, and quick! I had the BBQ and tried the camp stew (aka Brunswick stew for those of us from the Carolinas)…it was delicious. The best part was the true Southern sweet tea. ?

I was traveling and wanted to try Dobbs BBQ because I had heard good things about it. I looked at the menu online and it said they had a chicken filet sandwich, got there ordered it and a steak sandwich, the food was absolutely disgusting. The chicken sandwich was not a filet but it was 3 frozen chicken strips. The steak sandwich was also frozen and disgusting. We literally spit our food out, we are highly disappointed. We do not recommend this restaurant to people like us that are traveling through going to the beach. This was a horrible idea for our 1st place to eat on vacation.

Hadn't eaten there in 20-30 years. Wasn't bad. Wasn't great either. Had the lunch special. Pulled pork and sides. The pulled pork was adequate. Honestly it tasted "institutional". Almost as if it was bought-in. Same with the cole slaw. It tasted like commercial tub slaw. Baked beans were flavorful to a fault. Overy spiced. Tasted strongly of cloves or allspice or something. Too strongly for my taste.Overall it's not bad. But average at best...
