Food in the restaurant part was fine. Nothing great. Nothing bad. It's probably not somewhere I'd go again but I also wouldn't be mad at it if that's where my friends insisted on going. Quesabirria was honestly a little bland for what it was. Very just regular pot roast type flavor. Again, not bad, just not amazing.
The store part is great. I'd 100% go back next time I need an special Mexican groceries or snacks. The butcher looks interesting and I'd like to try them out

El Torino in Dothan, Alabama! Wow! This was an amazing food and shopping experience! 1) very out of my comfort zone but right up my alley in terms of a food adventure! 2) the Tortas are delicious, massive, and I’m pretty sure the waitress was apologetic about the spice level of them to me after she saw my face 😂 but WORTH IT! 3) the pastor and pineapple tacos are to die for! I wish I could have eaten more but I only had so much space to pack it in! 4) I loved being able to walk into a space and immediately feel like I needed to have my passport stamped. It was like taking a mini trip to an off the beaten path portion of Mexico. ¡Gracias! To the amazing staff for a great experience! I can’t wait to go back!

Up the rest! The is the most diverse, fresh and real Mexican food in the wiregrass. No one restaurant compares. We highly recommend any of the dishes and the street tacos.

Twice they took my order without writing down what I ordered and they brought it wrong. The first time I let it go, the second time I didn't. Then he says there is no coffee because they have to heat the water. I mean, don't stain it because I'll wait until it's ready, no problem. I'm already angry. Because the waitress doesn't write down my order. From there on out the food is not so bad but the service is just not.
