Placed an order online for pickup. We got the pepper steak with onions, general tso, shrimp fried rice and garlic sauce shrimp. It was $52. I do feel like it's a smidge over priced. The rice I wasn't a fan of. Not your traditional fried rice. Just rice with nothing in it. Minus the shrimp fried rice we ordered. Throw a little bit of diced peas, carrots and onion in it; would be game changing. With a dash of soy sauce just to give it some flavor. Anyways, the pepper steak and general toss was the best of the four things we ordered. As far as the service, friendly cashier and it was clean. Restaurant interior itself could use an update as far as decor/furniture goes but it was clean. As far as takeout Chinese goes, it was good. I'd probably go back again. Just really wish they made actual fried rice.

Great China is the best in Dothan for all your Chinese needs. The food is always fresh and cooked to perfection. The customer service is always top notch. Very friendly, helpful and caring. They always remember your name and are very thankful for your order. A1 service. Don’t think about coming here, just do it! It’s amazing.
Kid-friendliness: Lots of options for even the pickiest eaters.

I had a very great experience picking up lunch. The gentlemen checking me out was very friendly to start. I ordered the steamed dumplings and also got the sesame chicken meal which came with an egg roll.
The steamed dumplings were aexcellent. Very fresh, the dumpling shell was tender and the there was a good amount of meat and veggies stuffed inside. The filling had a very good flavor and a nice season to it. The dumpling appetizer also came with this mouth watering soy/teriyaki type dipping sauce I could have put on anything. I would buy the dumplings again just for that sauce!
I also enjoyed the sauce the sesame Chicken came with, and the egg roll had a nice fresh and crispy texture with a good portion of filling that was also seasoned nicely. It was right up there with the best egg rolls I've had in Dothan.

We ordered sesame, orange, and general T’so w/fried rice. All of it tasted like it was sitting in a refrigerator and re heated. The rice was the worse fried rice I’ve ever had. Nothing was added to it. The chicken was hard to chewy.
Food is just blah!!
My frozen dinner taste way better than this...
It's me and my husband's favorite Chinese place to eat at we recommend it

I ordered sweet and sour chicken. The chicken was good, nice and crispy. The reason for the rating is the fried rice. No vegetables, onion, or egg. Just plain yellow rice, some of which didn't even seem to be fried. Rice needs a major overhaul.

Sad to say, they’re pricing themselves out of their own market. I’ve been going here since I moved near two years ago. Was my go-to whenever I came home from a work trip.
But now their website is by Menufy and seemingly in order to pay for this move, they’ve increased their prices. $2 per menu item higher on the website than their in-house printed menu, AND a per order charge of $2 for the “privilege” of ordering a carryout order online. They’ll also beg for a tip this way too. Twice… and then again in your email order confirmation.
Shouldn’t you, as a restaurant charge LESS for me to order this way? You’ll have almost NO time in this order… why are you charging more? I realize you’re probably having to pay Menufy, but that should net you more customers, so you shouldn’t NEED to raise prices. Herein lies your problem. You raised them AND you’re going to LOSE customers because on top of this price increase, you’ve also let your quality slip.
Now, all this said and I’d pay $2 more per menu item if it was a premium experience. But their eggrolls have gotten smaller (they’re now more than double the price online btw), their cheese wontons are laughably small, though very tasty. The general tso’s chicken was dry, stringy, tough and gross. Boneless spare ribs were also dry and quite tasteless. Beef lo mein was good and my roommate says the beef and broccoli was good.
The woman usually answering phones and working the register is always quite nice and attentive, trying to get people and their orders in and out quick. A+ there.
TL:DR
Want to give them a try? Order direct with the restaurant, NOT online, and hope for better quality once they realize they’re going to lose customers this way.

Nice waitress but food was quality not very good. Fried shrimp not completely done, and limited sushi. Can not keep up with demand. ☹️
