Vegetarian options: Mac and cheese was excellent! Chef David knows a thing or two about soul food. His restaurant defines “a hole in the wall”. The greens and black eyed peas are what many raised in the South grew up eating. If you appreciate southern food, go there!
Owner/operator David Hogan was the MVP for Northview's State Champion football team. Now he is the MVP for Soul Food, Meat and 3, and short orders in Dothan. Great Food, great service, can't wait to go back for take out or dine-in. Big portions. Good for lunch or early dinner. Try Delores' candied yams.
The food was delicious. My husband and I ate for less than $20. He had a plate from the hot food bar. Fried chicken, fried okra and broccoli. We're not talking a small plate either. That was enough to feed two. The broccoli was to die for, the chicken was cooked to perfection crisp and juicy. No salt needed.
