Food was not bad. Atmosphere was not great. I like dark but it felt dingy. Checked out the sushi bar and the floor was sticky. Clean bathrooms and the kitchen looked clean.Not sure if the waitress knew the menu or that spicy tuna was the same whether in a hand roll or rice roll but was told that they were out of spicy tuna handroll but had it in riceroll.Overall, will stick with my normal sushi place. Not bad, just not what I want.
Food was pretty good. They didn't have seaweed salad, so I ordered the squid salad. It came in a very good sized portion for the price, I got excited. I ordered the Osaka roll and a pair of Tuna Nígirí after and I learned why. It was an 8 piece roll, barely an inch in diameter. The Tuna on the Nígirí also appeared to have come out of a deli slicer, it was paper thin. If sushi doesn't work out for this chef, Deli will.The service was really good. Apparently Dothans...
We stopped in for lunch. There was only one other couple seated inside. Service was super quick. Food was mediocre.They did not have a lunch menu so at 12:15pm, it was strange looking at full on dinner courses. We settled on smaller dishes but would have been much happier with a lunch portion of their hibachi combo.We decided on the steak fried rice and the chicken fried rice. Not really impressive. Literally only protein and rice. For the price, I would not go back for lunch.
