Rude rude rude . I called them because they said online they were hiring and they told me to come in person, I came in person and talked to a woman who was very rude. She told me not to come during lunch or dinner hours. I mentioned I was told on the phone to come in and she had the worst attitude and said we are too busy. I understand restaurants being busy but this is probably why they have no host working there crying online about it and then hiring . Edit to add since the owner responded to me: the review is fair. Shouldn’t put it all over online that you are hiring when you aren’t. It is literally posted on indeed and Dothan area jobs group in Facebook. The owner needs to take accountability for their rude employees and understand that good customer service is what keeps a restaurant going. So maybe you should take a good look at your staff and yourself and learn to have better customer service and take accountability for things that are wrong instead of hopping on here and blaming everyone because you have bad reviews. The attitude is not needed . Thanks!

La Favorita is a total vibe! I'm talking pasta that's so fresh, it practically melts in your mouth, and sauces with flavors that pop off. Trust, you'll be dripping in sauce and style by the time you leave!

If you want real authentic Italian food this is THE BEST place in Dothan! Frankly the best I’ve EVER had. They stay very very busy and still provide excellent customer service. Please try this place !!!

We walked in at 8:05pm and they would not seat us. Restaurant closes at 9pm. They said they are to go only at 8pm. Their business, their decision, but advertise that before someone gets dressed up with their entire family to support a local business to be turned away!

I love this little spot, I just had my third visual last night, and let me tell you, wow!!! I got my usual glass of sweet tea which is probably the best in town, my waitress was prompt and very courteous. The last couple of times I visited, I got traditional Italian dishes, lasagna and spaghetti, both were exceptional. This visit, I decided to step out and try something different, can I say that it was the best meal I have enjoyed all month. I got the Chicken Murphy. It was seasoned just right, and that sauce was delicious, I wish I could bottle it. The bread is always so good. I’m actually thinking I may go again this evening.

Went to La Favortita for my wife’s 70th birthday with my family on May 7, 2025. The food was really good but the service was the worse I have ever had. After the waitress got our drinks and order it took a long time to get the food. I just ordered an appetizer for my meal and after everyone got their meal I finally got mine. The server never came back to check on us or refill drinks until we asked another server to get our server. Then we got drinks. After we got our food, my wife and daughter split a meal. Never got the extra plate until I got up and asked another server to get me an empty plate. Then our server never came back around. We were going to get dessert but no server. We needed a couple of to-go containers to put our food in and no server. I had to get them off the counter myself. We waited for the bill and no server. My son had to go up to the counter to get the bill and pay for it. Not sure we will ever go back to this restaurant. We went there for our anniversary in Feb and we couldn’t ask for better. The restaurant was not that busy that the server couldn’t come back to us. The other server was right there for the table next to ours. We had 7 people in our party so it wasn’t like it was a big party. I mentioned to the server it was my wife’s birthday but I don’t think the server had her hearing aids turned on because we never did get acknowledged by her. So we left there and went elsewhere for our desert.
