Every time I come to Dothan, I have to stop here! Now that my daughter lives close, we will be coming a lot more. The BEST food I’ve had in Dothan thus far. If you don’t believe me, go in and ask for their turkey wings or ox tails. I guarantee you that your mouth will be watering before you even sit down!

I say this as a white dude writing this. This place is hands down amazing. The spot itself is kinda spartan, but Mama T and her welcoming demeanor and off the chain food makes me want to go back again. I got the jerk chicken, macaroni and okra. The Lemonade was absolutely perfect as well. 10/10

Jerk ribs, chicken, ox tail..it's all amazing. The sides are just as great! My brother and I make it over every Sunday, and eat enough to not be hungry the rest of the day. Mama T and family are great and friendly people too! They remember us every time we come in, and go out of their way to make us feel welcome.

STOP HERE!! 🙌🏻 We stopped by after seeing the reviews. I love little hole in the wall places with home made fresh cooking. Well MAMA T you did not disappoint!! We just moved here from Massachusetts and this place is a true hidden gem!! Everything was soo flavorful and fresh! Everyone was also so nice and helpful! We will def be back!
We are from Birmingham, AL and this was our first time here. We highly recommend - food is excellent. We enjoyed oxtails and hamburger steak with vegetables and banana pudding for desset❤️ If you love soul food - Mama T’s does not disappoint!! Thank you Mama T!! We will be back!
We visited late afternoon on Sunday, May 4th. Mama T greeted us as if we were walking into her home.🥰 We thought they were closing soon but we were learned they were closing at 5 pm. This was our first time as we were passing through and looking for soul food. Food was excellent. Give them a try and you won't regret it. Really enjoyed the service and food. Will vist again if I am in the area and you all are open. Thanks again!

This place is fantastic!! The food was delicious. We got the jerk chicken, jerk turkey wings, and hamburger steak. It was all so good. The meat fell off the bone, and the seasoning was spot on. The mac&cheese was great, as were the collards and cabbage. Found this place with a search on maps for local restaurants, and boy, are we glad we did!! Will definitely stop in next time we come through Dothan. The staff was so friendly and welcoming too. Do yourself a favor and check out Mama T's.
