Mildred's Restaurant & Tea Room

I am so blown away with the service and the food at this establishment! This is my second time dining at this restaurant but I recommend it to everyone who loves variety and a home-cooked meal!

Mildred has been here for my wedding reception 26 years ago! I love her and this sweet place to gather and food is the best home cooking.

Haven't been there for a while, kind of fell off my radar, but if you want a great meal for a great price you must go. The fried chicken is perfectly prepared, crisp on the outside and moist inside. Vegetables are fresh and perfectly seasoned and the freshest salad I have had. Don't forget the homemade dessert that is included along with a drink for only 12.00.I will definitely be back soon!

I noticed the good reviews have some age to them so maybe there have been some issues recently. We dined here with friends on Oct 15, 2023. I emailed the restaurant after our disappointing visit but they did not reply. We made numerous trips to the food room and there was barely any food. The first trip back we each got a piece of chicken. There were several trips where we got nothing at all. We eventually got a little bit of mashed potatoes and some beans. We got seated right away and were there for an hour. All of the pictures online show much more than what they had that day. There was never any cornbread, and only one small pasta salad. We asked the server if there would be more food and he said "I hope so". But there wasn't. Yet we were charged full price. It was our first and last trip.

Food and service was awesome! The banana pudding was some of the best i have ever had!

My favorites today were the fried chicken tenders, mashed potatoes, the pink congealed salad (is my very favorite) and the banana pudding was pretty darn good too!
