New management is called Red’s kitchen “soul food & sea food” . So me and my family placed an order around 1:25pm today after my grandmothers funeral looking for some good food before we left Dothan but come to find out an hour later they tell us we can get a refund and they will still bring the food out but that definitely was not the case . It seemed like they were out of literally everything but still allowing people to order and people who had just ordered 10 mins ago received their food yet we still haven’t had ours . If I could give them a 0 I would but I can’t . Terrible customer service and we were not the only family to ask or receive a refund . Avoid this place at all cost ! Would NEVER recommend a family member or person on the street to order from here . They had everybody waiting for their food and we ended up never receiving our food we ordered. Just go to the chick-fil-a next door your better off having food and better service there .

oxtails were disgusting . i spent 21.00 on a plate of oxtails and cabbage and ONLY ate my cabbage . everything was full with grease. great customer service.

September 20, 2020Never thought of traveling but my heart convinced me otherwise. Explored around Burlington coat factory to get some things. We got hungry and decided to go to the food court. Not much was open but I happened to noticed this little joint and thought "hey.. let's try this out!"They will say it's gonna take 15-20 minutes but let me assure you.. it will take at LEAST a good FULL HOUR before your order gets out. Do not believe them if they say it's gonna take 15 minutes unless you multiply it by four. So when you decide to come here. Make sure you have your time planned out!Here is what I recommend..Do not come here hungry or you will be hANGRY! [Its okay to have a snack ready to much on.]1. Take your order. 2. Then go have fun window shopping around the mall and set an alarm an hour from the time you have ordered. 3. Once your alarm has gone off or you have noticed that an hour has passed. Patiently walk your hungry self over to see if your order is ready.Ask them what is available because most of their dishes are not there anymore.It's a bit pricey because.. you know... it's seafood! The wait might just be worth it? Ehh.. yeah, just might be haha. We received the order about an hour and fifteen minutes after paying. There was so much food! We thought we wouldn't be able to finish it all but we killed it! They put the perfect amount of flavor into their dishes! I was amazing how good it was! No condiments necessary. Tastes better than most "fancy" restaurants I've gone to. This spot has given me a whole new standard of how seafood is suppose to taste like.Oh but make sure to bring your own wet naps because your hands just might get messy!Service! The workers are nice and it seems like they are all friends or family within but I just wish they didn't lie about how long it would take for the food to come out. Also make it clear when asked what they have. Make it simple and say YES or NO. Do not confuse me with explanations please! "Do you have tartar sauce?" "Yes or sorry we do not have tarter sauce." Do not say " Oh we have hot sauce and ketchup if you like and we will be making tartar sauce soon"The food is delicious! It amazed me! Just be honest about the time and what you actually have. Sorry for the rant but I have to make this clear so it does not happen to any of your other hungry customers.Looking forward to coming back here to enjoy the food next time I visit this lovely state!

Again, the food never disappoints! Had some fried pork chops, rice and gravy and mac and cheese! Had enough left over for my husband. Though he did ask why i didn't get him some of the wings with the gold sauce!

Very similar to the only other review, I came in to order the crab legs & shrimp plate, and it took well over an hour to get my food. Once I got the food, it tasted great; however, it would've been nice to get the heads up that the wait was going to be that long. The only reason I rated it so low was because of the wait time, which should've be a 1-star review, but the food was seasoned really well.

Nene's is the only reason I go to the mall anymore. They're also the reason I carry my own set of crab crackers in my purse. The crab and shrimp plate is perfection. They cook it fresh after you order it, it's seasoned perfectly and don't get me started on their butter sauce and corn on the cob! ?
