We usually come here for the AYCE dinner but we hadn't eaten lunch so decided to go around 1-3pm yesterday (Jan 16). The rolls were okay, not thier usual great... and then I ordered something I not only always order here, but every sushi place I've ever been to and was highly disappointed. I ordered the Dragon roll and the inside was 99% cucumber, I had to take a picture. I ended up not eating it because it was just not good, like at all. My husband also ordered 2 of the Kentucky rolls (fried chicken rolls) and got food poisoning later that night, it was the only thing he ordered that I did not. Yesterday was very disappointing as we do really like this place and go about everytime we are in Dothan.
Update (Jan 19) All weekend, my husband had been feeling like absolute garbage experiencing severe symptoms. We just left the ER in enterprise, and the nurses are almost certain it was Nora Virus food poisoning, which usually comes from mishandling and cross contaminating preparation of chicken... again, he had 2 rolls that contained chicken, and I did not even try one piece. So I am a 100% certain that he got food poisoning from this place on January 16....

Hands down the best sushi in Dothan/Enterprise. My husband and I are not from Alabama, so finding the right sushi place took some time, and I’m so happy we found Ooka Sushi! Definitely made Alabama a little less gloomy. We highly recommend!!

They told me when I seated it’s all you can eat for this price, except the appetizer from a sushi bar, that’s only one option. I chose what I wanted and ordered a Sashimi. She brought the plate and the Sashimi was like a Sushi so I asked her what was that, and she told me, I’m not going to lie to you, that’s how we get people, with rice. If they have a Sashimi on the all you can eat menu, they should bring you Sashimi and not Sushi.

Went there for the first time today…. Decide to try the AYCE..delicious. The appetizers, Rolls and the rest of the meal was to die for.. can’t say enough about our server Carla.. some of the best service I’ve recv’d.

I rarely do reviews but this place was solid for the Saturday dinner price. I highly recommend that NY strip roll, the right level of spice/heat to compliment the searing of the beef... I had like 6 other rolls and all were incredible plus the service was prompt and accurate the entire time... recommend---recommend---recommend!!

I love this place and the food, it’s always delicious! And most of the people here are super sweet, they make the place feel cozy and comfortable to be in. The other night I ate here and had Yazmin as my server and she was super cool, super quick, and was very attentive! There are a couple of servers that aren’t the best but a majority of them are the coolest people you’ll meet! It also tends to be pretty busy which can give me anxiety at times but the service makes up for it and I’m glad they’re getting so much business.
