First time eating at Ooka last night 3/24/24 my son suggested we eat there after church. He had to help me order. I was surprised it was good . Price is not bad for all you can eat Sushi $23.99 per person.

the service was good but the food was horrible. literally $55 for nothing. GO TO KYOTO instead. Yuck.

This was the worst food I’ve ever eaten before. Very confusing menu. No sense of direction. Food straight from a can or a bag. I can’t even stomach this place. Will NEVER EVER come back. Highly don’t

I came on a Friday night. Was pretty busy about a 30 min wait. Everything was great here. Would come back again!
I am editing my review. Last night 2/28/24 I got food poisoning from there. I threw up for 2 hours. I went to ER to find that I had food poisoning. I will not be returning especially since I spent $110 and threw it all up.

I had the opportunity to dine at Ooka Sushi in Dothan, which offers an all-you-can-eat sushi experience. The restaurant's warm and trendy atmosphere immediately set a pleasant tone for the afternoon.I began my meal with a selection of nigiri - two pieces each of salmon, tuna, mackerel, and crab. Each piece was fresh and flavorful, except for the mackerel, which wasn't to my liking, but I'm sure that's just a matter of personal taste.Next, I tried the eel roll. Although it appeared somewhat unassuming on the plate, the taste was a pleasant surprise – it was delicious and a testament to the notion that looks aren't everything. Following the eel roll, I ordered a sashimi roll, which was well-prepared and enjoyable. The highlight of my meal was the rainbow roll. The combination of flavors and the freshness of the ingredients made it stand out. It was closely followed by the sashimi roll, which was also exceptional in its own right. The service at Ooka Sushi was noteworthy. The waitress was friendly and attentive, ensuring we were well taken care of without being intrusive. Her professionalism added to the overall positive experience. In conclusion, my visit to Ooka Sushi was a satisfying one. The all-you-can-eat format, combined with the quality of the food and the service, makes it a spot worth visiting in Dothan, especially for sushi lovers. The rainbow and sashimi rolls were my personal favorites, and I'd recommend them to anyone dining there.
