The River Nile is a real treat. From the moment we entered we felt we were with old friends. Our server Crystal was the best, the way she described the food it made you want to try everything. The owner is a gem she truly cares about creating flavorful dishes with a unique twist. The coffee drinks are the best and the cookies were hot and delicious. We will definitely be back next time we are in Dothan.

We stopped in today and I am so glad we did! Everything was amazing! I had the chicken salad sandwich and sweet potatoes fries! Everything was perfect. My husband had a burger. The onion rings and his steak fries were the best I’ve ever tried! We will definitely make this a stop next time we are in town. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

Great place to meet up with cousins to do some catching up.
I cannot say enough good words about this restaurant. Every employee looked so happy to be at work, which immediately made me fall in love with the place the moment I stepped in the door. Randy and Krystal both came to my table and spoke with my friends and I and were so kind. Customer service was the best I’ve seen, probably ever, and the food was PHENOMENAL. Although Randy is young, it’s evident she enjoys what she does and enjoys working (which is hard to find in young people nowadays). Don’t even waste your time eating lunch at other restaurants - River Nile is the place to be!!

Phenomenal sandwiches. We highly recommend the “West of Eden” with fresh baked tomato bread and tons of flavor. The Gouda burger is good, too, with a smoky and sweet combo. (Barely any of the burger left in the photo—ha.) Our waitress, Courtney, was very nice, too!

First visit! Enjoyed the lavender lemonade very much. Chicken salad was great on dill pickle chips and also had the Gouda burger and vegetarian portobello mushroom sandwich. Brought a loaf of the in-house made rosemary tomato bread for the road. Everything was great! I would prefer the veggie sandwich on a thicker bun like focaccia but overall a great cafe experience and I would eat here again & again. Stop by & try it for yourself:)
