River Nile is one of my all-time favorite restaurants. The atmosphere is so welcoming, with family-friendly music that sets the perfect tone. The food is always fresh and delicious—like that secret sweet potato fry sauce, which is absolutely heavenly. And don’t even get me started on the red pepper soup and the Gouda burger—they’re must-tries!
I’ve followed them through all their location changes, and the quality and service have remained consistently excellent. It’s always my first choice for lunch meetings, business get-togethers, or a relaxing catch-up with friends. The restaurant and the team behind it are such a blessing to our community

Had lunch with some friends here. It’s now my new favorite place in Dothan. I ordered the Chicken Salad Sandwich and Onion Rings with a Peach Lemonade. The sun dried tomato bread was the best bread I’ve ever eaten. — Excellent food, service, and atmosphere.

From out of town and stopped In Dothan to stock up on items post-Hurricane Helene. We stopped and had lunch at the River Nile and were so impressed. The owner and our server, Bri, were super sweet, and the food was delicious! Will for sure be back!💗

The River Nile is a real treat. From the moment we entered we felt we were with old friends. Our server Crystal was the best, the way she described the food it made you want to try everything. The owner is a gem she truly cares about creating flavorful dishes with a unique twist. The coffee drinks are the best and the cookies were hot and delicious. We will definitely be back next time we are in Dothan.

We stopped in today and I am so glad we did! Everything was amazing! I had the chicken salad sandwich and sweet potatoes fries! Everything was perfect. My husband had a burger. The onion rings and his steak fries were the best I’ve ever tried! We will definitely make this a stop next time we are in town. 10/10 would definitely recommend!
