I went here for the beignets. I was doubtful about how good they’d be. I mean, I’ve had them from both Disney parks, and it is really hard to beat the beignets there. But these….they were DELICIOUS. The food (lunch) was good, but nothing crazy. This rivernile location has the best beignets. The west side location isn’t as great for some reason - still good, but not phenomenal like these. It is also “expensive” for a cafe - More so than toasted yolk which is surprising.

Finally was able to give River Nile a try! Brought my daughter to lunch, we started off with the spinach and artichoke dip and it was amazing, the peta bread was to die for! My daughter also had the Raspberry Tea, it was great. We both had the West of Eden which was PHENOMENAL!! I had the french onion soup and my daughter had the cream of tomato soup, they were both great as well. Our server Jordan was so sweet and very attentive. All in all would recommend 10/10.

My husband & I ate there yesterday after I saw a very positive comment posted on Facebook by someone who felt compelled to let everyone know how good it was. Very warm & friendly owner, excellent service, & the food was over the top! I had a generous cup of roasted red pepper soup & half chicken salad sandwich on sun dried tomato bread. They were amazing, & large servings for half sandwich & cup. My husband had a wonderful club sandwich & the best sweet potato fries we ever tasted. Even done perfectly, extra crispy as he requested! Will definitely be back!

This was my first visit to The River Nile. My server was fantastic. He was super friendly and recommended that I try the peanut butter cake so I ordered some to take home. I had breakfast and it was delicious. The beignets are great dunking them into coffee. The only part of my visit that was not good was I had a text that I was supposed to receive 10 percent off my breakfast order but they did not take off anything. I did not realize this until I got home (which is an hour away from Dothan). This is the reason that I gave them 4 instead of 5 stars.

Food was tasty. It was a little frustrating to ask questions about the menu and be told "I don't know."

Where do I start? My buddy And I recently discovered this place and although I rarely, if ever give reviews, this is definitely the one exception. Katie, the owner is an amazing entrepreneurial lady. She works harder than most to make this place incredible. Tucked away, it exudes class in a boutique kind of way. The staff were out of this world and Katie meets and greets all her customers...true southern hospitality. And the food...well... rarely do you find such quality these days. In a world of fast food and deep frying, this is as fresh and healthy, yet utterly delicious as you will find in the US. The roasted red pepper soup would make Gordon Ramsay sit back speechless. The chicken salad sandwhich, the sun dried tomato bread...yeeesh! Which she makes herself daily! I can only comment on what I've eaten, but I have traveled the world in my lifetime and I have yet to find anything to better this. If you come to Dothan, this place is a must.... I can only presume it's waiting for it's Michelin stars! And on a side note, the owner Katie is as sweet as can be and deserves to do well. She has already branched out to a second location... support these places.. .. you will not be disappointed.
