The food and atmosphere are one of the best in the area. Big windows, good coffee and a tasty menu for breakfast and lunch. Everyone is easy going and glad to answer questions for new customers. My only issue is the dang chairs in here, they are so uncomfortable!! I'm a bigger person and I find the seating so uncomfortable, especially for anyone with back issues. It's worth a stop and your taste buds will thank you!

When you walk in the door you are greeted with a smile, the atmosphere is cozy, yet no matter who you are at you feel at home. The chicken salad sandwich that is served on their very own bread is amazing, the flavor packed sandwich made with chicken salad avocados and broccoli sprouts is #1 my favorite sandwich. Pair it with sweet potato fries and their sweet potato fry sauce and you have one of the best lunches in Dothan.

My husband and I are in the area from Florida and found this little gem and we're SO GLAD we did! We were greated by friendly staff, and waited on by a lovely woman who answered all of our questions very kindly. We had a chicken sandwich recommended by our waitress, a roast beef (French dip), French onion soup, French fries, and sweet potato fries, and lemme tell ya it was all amazing! The sweet potato fries were perfect and crispy (instead of somewhat soggy like they tend to be) the sandwiches were delicious! The owner stopped by our table before we left and we had the best conversation, I told my husband if we lived here I'd make her be my friend. ? Great food, great atmosphere, great people, would 100% recommend.❤️

Great food!! Seriously the chicken salad sandwich was amazing and hubby said his roast beef was super good. The cafe is adorable and the service was great although a bit slow. Would highly recommend!
We stopped in today and I am so glad we did! Everything was amazing! I had the chicken salad sandwich and sweet potatoes fries! Everything was perfect. My husband had a burger. The onion rings and his steak fries were the best I’ve ever tried! We will definitely make this a stop next time we are in town. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

Great service, great coffee, great food, and even great music. River Nile Cafe is, in my opinion, the best coffee shop in Dothan. I recommend the lachs and bagel ("bagel & lox" on the menu). It was fresh and delicious. Just as importantly, I don't know of any other breakfast restaurant in Dothan that offers it.
