Well! I walked into the bakery looking for some FRESH brownies and they ONLY had dry looking brownies. You know, the kind that’s been sitting for a few days. I want to say they had like 12 or 14. So, I left and about 30 minutes later I called to place an order. I asked her how long will it take to make a fresh batch and she said hold on for a few minutes. Came back to the phone and said that she can have them ready by today (within an hour) so I said perfect! It was two o’clock and pick up was at three o’clock. We pulled in early to wait because I was in the area. I walked in and noticed that the brownies I saw from walking in earlier were gone. So he went to get my order and I asked him, “can I see!?” Just to see they were the OLD BROWNIES from earlier! I wasted a whole hour because they ASSURED me that I was going to get FRESH brownies. So yea, THIS IS WHY MOST CUSTOMERS ARE EXPERIENCING OLD PASTRIES!

Rolens has made 2 wonderful cakes for my family. This last order though has been a disaster. I placed the order over the phone and came to pay for it in person a few days later. The woman who took the order never turned it in! So I had to reorder, which was fine. No big deal. Today I'm here for pick up. The cake is wrong. They made 1 dozen petit fours out of the 10 dozen I ordered. I was told to give them 20 minutes and they'd have the other 9 dozen ready. They did and they fixed the cake, after I asked a second time for a correction. It is what it is and I got my order but I am not happy with the service and will only be ordering from a private baker, Cakealicious here in Dothan, from here on.

They have been around for decades. Not in the best area of town but it works for them. I’ve ordered cakes from there before. I called looking for a sugar icing birthday cake and they only do cream cheese cakes they said.
They did a specialty cake for me when Publix didn't give me the time of day and did it last minute. Wonderful people ❤️
