I ordered a Hummingbird cake for my sweet daughter’s 37th birthday. It is a flavor neither of us had ever tried before but wanted to. We were not disappointed. This cake was moist and delicious with a capital D. The flavor was light and delightful, it wasn’t too sweet or too rich. It was seriously the best cake we have had in a long time. Thanks so much to Simply Cakes Bakery. Y’all did an amazing job. We put the 7 candles on it but Simply Cakes Bakery did all the rest....
No man in his right mind would ever say that a cake from Simply Cakes is better than mama’s cake, or granny’s cake, or cake that Aunt What’s-Her-Name brings to the family reunion. That’s why there may be a lack of word or mouth buzz about this place. I stop by every time I’m in Wicksburg visiting family — one on the way in and once on the way out if I can.
