We enjoy eating at sonic every now and then. There is usually a wait, but that’s to be expected. The best thing about sonic is you never have to wait to be seated. The food has always been good. The service is usually good.

Food was 20.03 I ordered chicken stripes that were burnt and fried too hard. Asked for ketchup received 2 paks. NO RECEIPT GIVEN The Location is South Oates street in Dothan Ala. Server stated business was slow... then why Noone took time to make sure my order was cooked properly. Gave a tip wasn't much but was all I had. Smh no more

UPDATE....I usually am a sucker for this Sonic, but OMG. This was the worst ever. I ordered that lavender drink and chili cheese tots. my tots were grease soaked and refried. And I know the drink does not supposed to taste like carbon water with whipped foam.. normally I would pitch a fit with the manager but I give him a break today 😕😔

From start to finish our visit took about 45 minutes. It took over 20 minutes just for someone to take our order
We stopped for Milkshakes one evening. It was a decent sonic. Reasonably clean. The workers were friendly.

Screen told me 15 minutes ago that my food is on the way... I still haven't received it. Owner should look into staff falsely submitting completion times to customers this is the third time in a row it's been like this. Edit: it ended up taking over 25 minutes to get my food after they completed my order on the screen. That's after they put me on hold for almost 5 minutes, when I hit the button after over 20 minutes of waiting, to find out what's going on with my food. They immediately brought my food out after that, so it had just been sitting there getting cold. The kicker is they left off one of the items I ordered, the smasher, even after I told them I didn't want onions on it. I got the smasher as a combo and a coney by itself but they somehow left off the smasher and ran the coney as a combo. This place wasn't even all that busy at the time, 7 cars was all.

I wasn't the biggest fan of sonic to begin with but I bought an oreo sonic blast at this location, paid an extra $0.50 for cookie dough as well...I litterally got a cup of ice cream with 7 cookie dough pieces and not even half an oreo just sprinkled on top. The whole rest of the cup was only ice cream unstirring, no oreo or cookie dough pieces. I'll never buy anything from Sonic again, if I'm paying $6 for a small then it better come as advertised. Just pathetic and careless customer service.
