Stopped by here on a whim to give this place a shot after hearing so much about it. The inside is vibrantly decorated and incredibly clean. There was a large selection to choose from but some of the stuff was sold out because I arrived later in the business day .I grabbed a slice of Oreo cake, carrot cake, and blue velvet cake. Wow they were all DIVINE. The blue velvet cake was especially surprising because it was my first time having that flavor before.The staff was very friendly and patient with me as I tried to make up my mind on what to order. Checked out was a breeze even though this place had a line forming. It is a very popular bakery.The restrooms are clean and there is plenty of parking in the back.

I can’t gatekeep…Jolando’s is hands down the best cakes in Dothan! Moist, flavorful, and served with a smile. We have a family tradition now of getting multiple slices instead of 1 cake on birthdays so we can get a variety and SHARE!

I have some bakers in my family, and they make cakes and they are very good, but this place… the way the blue velvet cake melts in your mouth, and the icing…. One of the best places I’ve ever tasted!

The cakes are so good and moist. This shop is one of the few things I miss about moving from Enterprise to Montgomery. Whenever I’m in Dothan and the shop is open, its a must I stop by. My favorites are the red velvet bundt w/cheesecake swirl, red velvet, wedding cake, caramel and key lime. Please do yourself a favor and try this shop out! You won’t be disappointed.

Each bite was as good as the last. The red velvet loaf was big enough to share. I offered my son half. He didn’t partake quick enough. So, I ate my half and his. Got get there sooner for the ooey, gooey sweet potato dessert. I’m so glad this shop is not on my path home. For if it was, I would need a new wardrobe.
