The worst experience I’ve ever had with Texas road house. Food was not good. My steak looked like it was cooked on a dirt grill. My loaded baked sweet potato had no effort in it marsh mellows were just threw on top and melted on. Got a cactus blossom and it had about an inch of grease in the bottom of the bowl.

Put my name in on the waitlist, which said 20-30 minutes. We got to 35 minute wait and I told the hostess I didn’t receive a text. She told me it would be another 15 min. When we were seated, no bread was brought to the table by the hostess despite there being plenty of baskets at the window, and we had to ask the waitress for bread. My husband and I ordered prime rib, which I was happy that they still had some, and salads. When we got our salads we opened up our silverware to find it dirty. The salad was lukewarm and after about 4 bites I found a black curly hair. We let the waitress know and she was apologetic. We then waited for more 40 minutes to receive our food. In the mean time we watched people who sat down about 15 minutes after us receive their food.
Lastly, the restrooms were a little gross. There’s mold growing on the bathroom sink faucets.

MICHEAL WAS AMAZING!! 10/10 service, 10/10 food, wait time is reasonable if you call ahead. Everyone was polite!
The tables are a little snug,( and I'm normal size about 175 lbs.) a little expensive for the quality and quantity of products, but one of Dothans better restaurants and Dothan Alabama is definitely NOT known for its fine dining lol , as a matter of fact it's just the opposite.

Service was great, and the food was pretty good too. Four stars because there weren't any peanut shells on the floor.
Edit for visit on 2/8/25: I'm not changing the 4 stars. Our service was great, again, and we enjoyed our meal. I'm editing to warn you to watch out when coming in at opening time. One of the hosts was seemingly running late and far too impatient to wait 5 seconds for us to back into our parking spot and nearly hit our vehicle. The employees need to be more punctual instead of flying through the parking lot and nearly hitting a vehicle with 3 small children inside.
My new favorite steakhouse

Visited 2/8/25 for dinner. The place was absolutely disgusting. The bathrooms were filthy and smelled horrible. There was paper and trash on the floors throughout the entire restaurant. A worker was walking around with a broom and dust pan and she tried to scrape up a napkin that was stuck to the floor. She couldn't scrape it up so she left it, bypassing many other pieces of paper that were all around her. I have never seen Texas Roadhouse look this bad but I venture to say I won't be back. If management allows that out on the floor where the customers are, I hate to imagine what the kitchen looks like. There's no way that all the trash I saw was from one day's business. Very disappointed. Our server, Jennifer(I think) was very good and attentive to whatever we needed.

I added myself to the wait list online. It said the wait was 45-50 minutes and check in with the hostess upon arrival. I waited 40 minutes to arrive. When I checked in, I was told it would be another 30 to 45 minutes wait . It was 50! The place was so crowded and noisy I couldn't hear the other person in my party seated directly across from me. We were served salad before bread with no utensils. Did I mention the noise? We decided to get dessert to go because you couldn't hear yourself think!!! The food was fantastic!!! But it's going to be a while before I sign up for that experience again!!! Maybe I'll just get everything to go next time.

We had a party of six for dinner . They seated a large group promptly ! Service was friendly and attentive . The food came out at a relaxed pace and all of the dinners were delicious and came out perfect temperature . We had loaded fries and fries pickles for appetizers and were tasty .
From steaks, to unique Road Kill smothered chop steak and various salads were truly enjoyed our dinner and our evening . We will be back !

Awazing food. Took my husband for the prime rib for his birthday and they surprised him and my with their Lil "birthday round up" on a saddle for him. You'll just have to go see it for yourself. Lol. Omg so funny.
Best prime rib in Donthan AL
Vegetarian options: Don't know specifics bit they have salads and fresh veggies so you're not eating alone if this is your choice in a steak house.
Dietary restrictions: I think they would be able to accommodate for any diet
Kid-friendliness: Most deff, "whole family friendly"
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes

The Dothan, AL Texas Roadhouse had the worst steak, baked potato and service of any Texas Roadhouse I have visited. My 6 oz sirloin steak was inedible; it was tough, tasteless
and cooked incorrectly. The baked potato was cold and hard. My husbands steak kabob was also TOUGH.It was not a good experience.
