Best thai food in the area 😋
Had the spicy chicken volcano. I’ve had lots of Thai—lots of food—all over the US.
This was one of the best meals I’ve ever had.
I live in Houston, but recently placed an online order with The Thai House of Dothan for my beloved aunt, who lives in the area and is unwell. I wanted to send her a comforting meal. What I didn’t expect was how personal and thoughtful the experience would be from a restaurant hundreds of miles away.
Shortly after placing the order online, I received a phone call from the restaurant. They noticed it was unusual to have an online order come in from out of state and wanted to make sure it was legitimate — and more importantly, that the order was just right. They walked me through each item and even adjusted the spice levels when I explained the meal was for my aunt, who needed something gentle but flavorful.
What they delivered wasn’t just a meal — it was comfort, compassion, and care. My aunt and other family members absolutely loved the food. And for me, it meant everything to know that even from a distance, I could send her something special — and that a local business took such sincere care in making it happen.
Thank you, Thai House of Dothan. Your food was amazing, but your kindness was unforgettable.
Great food and service
So glad to have found this restaurant! Their food is delicious. My husband loves the Volcano chicken.
I'm not a green pepper fan and they omitted them from my dish and substituted another veggie.
Their lunch specials are a good value.
Service and food was excellent. Mr Karn was very kind and helpful. He recommended pho and Thai khao soi noodles which it was very very delicious.
One of the best dinning experiences and Thai too.
I used to live in this area 20 years ago and there honestly wasn't much variety in restaurants back then, specifically of international cuisines. Coming back to visit the Dothan area and discovering more eclectic options was a welcome surprise, specifically with Thai House of Dothan!
I LOVE Thai food and was pleasantly surprised by this place. It is actually authentic Thai, including the spice levels, which usually tend to water flavor down to match the local palette...but not here! I had the Panang Curry, Tom Yum soup, and Spicy Chicken Triangles (AMAZING), which were all very tasty.
The staff was also very pleasant and it was decorated quite nicely.
I definitely recommend you check out Thai House of Dothan!
Great authentic Thai food in Dothan. We've been delighted with every meal there over the years. Only disappointment was when we stopped by on Sunday night and found out they were closed.
Yes 10/10 recommend!! The appetizers and the entrees were absolutely amazing! 💯 And the dessert mango sticky rice was awesome!! 🤩 Definitely will be going back again soon!!

The food was amazing! Very well prepared and the best service. Excellent!!!
The food was over the top delicious 😋 I very much recommend it! Everything was great from the appetizer all the way to the dessert! Everyone, please give it a try!
Very small portion compared to what you receive. They also charge a "packaging fee." I've never seen that before. The cucumber sauce for the chicken satay was very good, but the chicken had no flavor. The soup was good, I was expecting a larger container. I think the portion to expense ratio is pretty uneven for this place. I also had some kind of reaction to whatever I ate I was itchy for about an hour after, I took a benadryl just incase. So be careful if you have food allergies.

So, I travel for work and I always seek out Thai restaurants ....I absolutely loved Thai House. I went the first night and had Larb Gai and Thai Beef Salad - their Thai beef salad was different from all others and amazingly good. It had sliced apples for a sweet favor along with the Thai spicy flavors.
Tongiht, I went back - same server who happened to be the owner, Nathan, and I ordered Nam Sod and Tiger Eye and the Thai Spring Rolls. The Spring Rolls were served with a pineapple sweet & spicy dipping sauce that was so yummy!!! My salads were amazaing.
So, I told Nathan (owner) that I travel for work and when out of town I look for thai food so he asked me - "you are the first customer to come here and order all 4 salads, how do you rate them? " My response....
1) Tiger Eye - with cabbage, not Romaine
2) Thai Beef Salad
3) Nam Sod
4) Larb Ga
And yes, get some Jasmine rice on the side - not to fill your belly, but to absorb the delicious flavorful sauce - nothing goes to waste.
If I could rate higher than 5 stars, I would!!!
100% will return
