There’s really no other place to get your fish in Dothan. I’ve been getting my fish here once a week for the last 4 years and their Salmon and Red Snapper never miss. I also love their Jerkins dry aged beef. I won’t buy anything but Jerkins anymore it’s basically beef candy.

I visited today and bought large shrimp and 4 whole catfish, the place is very clean and very reasonably priced. Has everything you need to lighten up your seafood dish. Most definitely recommend going.

Honest Seafood is fantastic! Starts with the gentleman who runs the store, he’s so personable, extremely helpful and makes you feel like a priority. The seafood is very fresh with great variety and great specials, like recent sea bass cheeks which were phenomenal. But I’m here to talk about the beef. Right? Beef in a seafood market? Believe it they carry Jerkins Angus Cattle Farms beef, local from Bristol, FL filets, ribeyes, and ground beef. The quality is amazing and the price is comparable to super market beef. I find myself driving across town to buy ground beef! Don’t miss out this place is a gem!

UPDATE: Made burgers tonight for company from Jerkins ground beef. I’ve made burgers for years with different grades of beef and different seasonings. Tonight’s fare exceeds anything I’ve ever done. The beef steals the show don’t miss out.

I am sorry....... I did not find the easy peel shrimp to be easy to peel. Next time I will ask for peeled and deviened shrimp and have them steamed. I hope to have better luck the next time I visit Dothan.

This is such an awesome place to get FRESH seafood! The guy has been super helpful the two times I have been in there! He steamed my crawfish with their house blend that was delicious

Honest seafood is located on the corner of west way blvd and Montgomery hwy 231 N. They offer a great selection of local fresh fish, frozen seafood and frozen meats. I would recommend, but don’t expect to find lobsters, muscles, etc.

We really like the dry aged Angus beef here. It's excellent.

This is the BEST place to get fresh seafood and other authentic Cajun goodies. The owner is the friendliest and most helpful person. This is the only place we buy seafood, not only for the quality and price, but also for the most genuine people you’ll ever meet. 100% recommend for all your seafood needs!
