Oh my the Sugar Shack was worth the drive. No attmission on the door. I had the fish n fries the fish was season good. I had to have water I'm a diabetic it was 3$ tip and all 20$ not to bad. Live DJ Mosley older crowd that will dance young people under the table. Clean, very good vibes. Bathroom very clean just one toilet no problem we were patient. No one over stay. Parking plenty. Since the owner own most of the whole block. It's a restaurant not a club. Drinks available of all kinds I don't drink. So get yr dance on because it closes at 12:00 if I'm not mistaken. Police on watch at all time outside. Security on inside. Even though I was very sick. I cut 4 or 5 steps. Enjoy and will definitely return. Love it. Check the Sugar Shack out.

The parking absolutely sucks. I walked in for the first time and walked out after 10 minutes. I was reeking with the smell or grease.
I doubt I'll give this place another try. Dothan has the worst restaurant selection.
A lady from work told me to try it. Definitely not my scene. I thought the place was going to be nice. It's a hole in the wall. It's literally a shack.
I wish black folks had higher standards. Just another run of the mill fried food spot. Nothing special at all.
The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. Three different team members came by to give my son a high-five (earning big grins each time) and check on our order. Everyone was enthusiastic about their Shack Sauce, and they were absolutely right—it’s a delicious blend of savory, sweet, and heat.
If I were a local, I’d be here regularly. As a tourist, it made for a great meal.
The chicken tenders and boneless wings featured juicy white meat with light, crispy breading. I’d give the edge to the tenders.
The burger came with a hearty patty and beautiful presentation. Adding bacon and shack sauce is a must.
Fried shrimp were lightly breaded and perfectly tender.
The corn nuggets were tasty and like everything were better dipped in shack sauce.
The salad was underwhelming—just iceberg lettuce with pickles, tomatoes, onions, and cheese.
One note: they do charge for water cups. Plenty of parking available in the lot across the street.

Best Burger Joint in Dothan by far. Come hungry if youre looking for a burger because a mouthful is an understatement. I recently stopped in because of the reviews to feed my construction guys, and every single one of them wanted to know what the place is called because they all wanted to return. Dipping sauce was out of this world, fries were excellent, and the atmosphere there was awesome, tvs all over with sports of all kinds, Saturday college football to axe throwing. Even comes with a great back patio. Will definitely return. The owner was out in the open, and a very friendly person, along with all of the staff.
