Went to this Waffle House place my to go order. Sat at the bar because the restaurant was about empty. The young lady took my order. 2 ladies asked me if I had a 2 go order I said yes. One of them said I need to move from the bar and sit in the chairs behind the bar for the to go order. I said it’s no one in here I will move when the restaurant gets crowded ( only 1 person was sitting at the bar) I sat there for about 20 minutes. One of the cooks ( which was a manager so loud and rude told the young lady that took my order I’m not cooking her food til she moved from the bar. She lady that took my order came and told me what he said I said ok give me a refund he got even louder these are his words SHE CANT GO TO APPLEBEES AND SIT AT THE BAR WITH A TOO GO ORDER( THATS A LIE GET TOO GO ORDERS ALL THE TIME AND I SIT AT THE BAR WAITING ON MY FOOD) NO PROBLEM WITH THEM. THEN HE SAID ITS A SIGN ON THE WALL THAT SAYS NO SITTING AT THE BAR UNLESS YOU'RE EATING THERE. I DIDN'T SEE THE SIGN. THEN 2 EMPLOYEES START FUSSING ABOUT WHO WAS STANDING IP THERE FIRST TO CALL OUT THEIR ORDER IN FRONT OF THE CUSTOMERS. I SAID GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK ( I PAID WITH CASH) THE WAITRESS SAID TAKE A PICTURE WE CANT GIVE YOU A RECEIPT. I TOOK THE PICTURE FORGOT I PAID WITH CASH DROVE DOWN THE HIGHWAY GOING TO ANOTHER WAFFLE HOUSE IT HIT ME I PAID WITH CASH WENT BACK YO GET MY MONEY. WENT TO THE OTHER WAFFLE HOUSE EMPLOYEE IN THERE WAS SO MUCH FRIENDLY AND NICE LET PEOPLE SIT WHERE EVER THEY WANTED TO. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THAT WAFFLE HOUSE NEVER. THAT COOK/ MANGER IS SO RUDE AND LOUD.

The male manager of this store is so rude to his employees and has zero ability to manage staff appropriately. We were there during a super busy time (Halloween night) and the orders were all mixed up. No one at our table ate at the same time it took Shift change for 2 new cooks to come in and take over to get things back on track. As someone who has extensive management experience it is really hard to go to this establishment and not jump in to give direction because it is clearly something he lacks.i feel bad for the employees of this store because there seems to be no communication from leadership other than negative or derogatory comments he makes when he thinks no one can hear him. I give service a 5 star because we have some of our favorite wait staff that always are so nice and attentive. Jolisa and Ms Angie are our favorites;) they are the only reason we keep coming back to this store. Ms. Angie was our server the night of Halloween and kept apologizing and trying to make sure she could accommodate for our late plates. It was roughly 9pm the night of Halloween if upper management sees this and needs reference.

Update 2023: Jessica was AWESOME!!! 👌 Food was EXCELLENT! BEST experience I've had at ANY RESTAURANT!!! WOW. 💕 P.S. : we went around 11:00 pm or so at night. The staff was SUPERB! I'm guessing the bad reviews were from the day time staff?
I'd give the nice guy that works there five stars. VERY nice staff and GREAT food. Do wish they told me they had a 20 % fee for carryout. I always leave a big tip regardless, mostly at Christmas! You should let customers know. I spent 87 dollars feeding four people. 😳😳😳😳
