A glimpse into a past long forgotten for most of the south. Little general store with everything from fresh food to tractor parts. They have clothes and grocery items. The parking lot was full as was the diner. The food was good the country fried steak was tender enough to cut with a plastic fork. Definitely recommend if you are in the area.
I decided to stop in for breakfast since I was close by and I had never been here before but always wanted to try it.. so I got some scrambled eggs with bacon, toast and a glass of milk.. she prepared it within minutes and was very nice.. it was very good and the restaurant reminded me of the old days when I was a boy.. just good old fashioned cooking and friendly people in an old country store..
I was a bit disappointed....the burgers were cooked before hand and sitting in a pan on the stove. They were very cold! I really don't like cold Hamburgers! Very disappointed ?Maybe just a bad day
