I love going in this place. The interior looks like you're in Noah's Ark. Lol seriously though, it truly is beautiful inside. It's your typical convenience store on first glance. Its not until you get inside that you will see what I mean. I'll try to snap some pics the next time i visit. Staff is friendly and personable. First name basis with each one. And they take the time to know your name too. Hunts brothers pizza can be purchased here. They also do lunch plates daily. Reasonably priced as well. Keep up the good work ladies.

As a drone Arial photographer I get hungry out in the field. My stop at A1 Pitstop Grill was Amazing. I loved the food and especially the sweet tea. Thank you Miss Jesse for your fine cooking and southern hospitality.I will be stopping again on my way back home!

This camp is very close to Talledega Speedway. Tent area, camper parking and cabins. The best customer service. They really go out of their way helping you have fun! Family safe! Extra services during race, a shuttle, band in the evening, enjoyed the karaoke!

Campground is quiet until the races start, and then you hear everything to where the race car engines are vibrating your camper. But that’s not why I lowered the rating on this review. When placing the reservation online, the website would not take any discount codes, so I figured I would book the site and work with the staff when I arrive. When I arrived, no one was at the office. I called via phone and the female that answered said she has me checked in and she provided me with the lot number to go setup. I asked about the Passport America rate and she said because I already paid for the site, they can not retract or refund part of the rental. Not even for Good Sam. I went and setup my camper. I would’ve scored this review as a 2 star, but manager showed up and was really nice with welcoming us to the campground. Fortunately even though I was forced to pay full price, at least the price was still reasonable versus other rv parks. The park is more of a plain rv site with not a lot of amenities, with the exception of full service hookups, the cabins that get rented, etc (as pictured on the website). I didn’t get to see the store since no one was there during check in. It looks like they are trying to do some landscaping upgrades since some lots were partially flooded, but there was a bulldozer on site. That area of the park was not being rented out. Some permanent residents that live there in older campers, and we were next property over from a cemetery. Other than that, seemed like the park was being taken care of. If we were into racing and wanted to be near the racetracks, we would stay here again.

Very nice store. Fair pricing, good selection, nice manager. But it's not new? Yes, original.

This place is awesome! It’s a very well maintained, quiet (even during race week) and clean park. The owners are super friendly and helpful. The shuttle to/from the track was a nice bonus and they even have firewood and ice delivery if you need it. Free breakfast, a band on Saturday night, what more could you ask for? We had full hookups with good water pressure and a level site. We had a great time here and will be back again for race week in the spring!

We have stayed before the new owners took over and what a difference..they have added little tiny houses, planning to add more plus an amphitheater .have entertainment, have breakfast in the morning..great ideas ..not just for a stay during the races, but anytime you are traveling.. new owners were on hand to greet us when we arrived to show us where our site was (it was late and dark)...they met us when we left to tell us safe travels...so glad we stayed there instead of an old smelly hotel room... . We were there for 4 nights for the 30th annual Ice Bowl at the short track...

This RV park was a great "one nighter’ for us as we made our way to the west coast. We stayed on the grass with some shade, 30amp, water and a good sewer connection. The staff was friendly and helpful. We were isolated in a one-nighter area with nobody next to us. We didn't use the bath house. It was a great stay for us and I recommend it highly. The cell signal for Verizon and ATT was good at 30-40 MBps. Will definitely stay here again if passing through the area.

Nice little grill and mini market. Close to the CMP Range and Race Track. Easy access from the highway.Well stocked mini market, has gas and diesel, fresh coffee, good selection of snacks and quick to go food items. They also have a fair selection of fireworks.Friendly staff and reasonable prices.
