Was driving back to Tuscaloosa from north Alabama and passed this place. Tons of families outside so I decided to stop and try it out. It was absolutely incredible. The food was delicious and very fairly priced. Atmosphere was very homey and friendly

I order TWO wing plates because I genuinely love their food. Never had a complaint until I get home, 25 minutes one way to find that I have ZERO barbecue sauce for either plates. If you get it Togo double check your bags.

First time trying this place. Prices are good food is excellent and be sure to ask for a go box because you won't be able to eat all the food they pile on! Service was awesome highly recommend!!!!
The barbecue meat was wonderful as was the toasted buns and the slaw. I didn’t care so much for the baked beans due to the slight vinegar taste in them and the barbecue sauce tasted like pure vinegar. If you like a vinegar based sauce you will love it but I personally prefer a sweeter barbecue sauce. I can even handle some vinegar with the sweet but this was way to much vinegar and no sweet at all. My husband even had an issue with the vinegar too. He ate his and I did not. My husband was sick by the time we left. I think someone accidentally put a triple dose of the vinegar in the sauce maybe.I did however love the meat. It was smoked to perfection. It was tender and had a great taste. I wish I had ordered my sauce on the side which I usually do somewhere that I’ve never eaten at but failed to this time. I can’t say I won’t go back but when I do I will take my own sauce with me next time or order something different. My husband ordered some wings too and said they were really salty and would suggest not getting barbecue sauce to dip them in.Everyone was very nice and the service great. I feel bad though because we always tip and my husband was feeling so sick that he didn’t realize he didn’t put a tip on the table until we were almost home. We will double up the next time.
