Very thing came out hot and fast! Just not a lot of seasoning for me but that is a person to person thing. The rice throw me off because I’m used to yellow rice at Mexican restaurants but besides that it was good.

This was going to be our first time trying out Effie's since moving here 2yrs ago. Came in around 730pm, place had a decent number of people but there was no line to wait. Unfortunately we were not not greeted by anybody and the blonde with the nose ring who was at the hostess station immediately went to the register and stood there without any acknowledgement, this was followed by 3 more of the staff that came to the hostess station to put stuff down and walk away, I told my husband we would leave after 3-4 minutes, kept making it obvious that I was checking my watch for the time while the blonde with the nose ring kept quiet at the register. Poor customer service from the get go. Naturally we will not be coming back.
I've lived in Enterprise for nearly 10 years. I just decided to try Effie's for the first time today. It was just after opening for the lunch crowd and everything was neat and clean it has a nice vibe in there. The prices are reasonable. The service was good. The food on the other hand was not the end all be all everyone says it is. The chips were from a bag and the salsa was from a can. The enchilada sauce tasted canned as well. The taco reminded my wife of school cafeteria taco day. The Mexican burger was well done, I asked for medium, dry and had no seasoning. The best thing was the fried potato wedges.

Took my girlfriend and her parents for my GF's mom's birthday and the food was just not good at all, I had quesadillas and they were stale, my GF had Chile rellano and it was cold and bland, I never got a refill of my tea, very disappointed our first visit won't be going back and for $88 just

Waited for over 45min for table but went inside to check and more than 2/3 of resteraunt was empty. Host said she didn't want to overload the servers with more them 1 table at a time. Totally Uexceptable!!

Decent place. Service and staff were great and food was mostly very good. Five of us ate and one meal (fajitas) was fairly flavorless and sparse. The other meals were very good though and family had a good time. Will go back, but will just avoid the fajitas.
