Good food but kind of small portions for the price. Clean and friendly but, you pay for your meal when you order and it asks for a tip, they don't do anything but bring your food. You get your own drinks, own plastic wear, and your food comes in to go boxes. Also, you throw away your trash when you are done eating. So, why tip?

I've dined in many times here. For the most part it's been good. Foos is cooked to order and exceptional. But we ordered on doordash recently and the whole experience was ridiculous. We ordered 2 large bbq plates and a large sandwich plate. We asked for extra bbq sauce specifically. What we got was over $50 of bbq with NO SAUCE. Not even what is supposed to come with it. Some might say that it's an honest mistake. I disagree. Only a complete absent minded person could send that much bbq out the door with no bbq sauce.

Great food, the potatoes are a large portion. I got the chicken potato, I tried both mild and sweet sauce on it, both were really good. My daughter had kids chicken fingers and fries, also really good! The food really looks and tastes like it was just made fresh. We’ll definitely go back!

This place is disgusting go anywhere else but here. Food is super bland and tastes fake. All the girls up front looked like they were being forced to work there it felt like I walked into a hostage situation, I wasn’t sure if I was ordering food or interrupting a silent meltdown. I would never recommend going there for anything. I’ve heard how bad it was up there and decided to go give it a try and my experience my worst than any experience I’ve had before. Definitely will not be coming back, but will definitely be going back to The Butchers Daughter, Cafe Roma, Beef O Brady’s, The Barrels Room, And The Rawls Restaurant. Hooks Bbq please do better before yall go out of business.

Called in my families order it was 12:06 when I ordered our food drove from Ozark to pick it up got there the young girl told me it wasn’t ready yet no problem. 50 minutes later I ask if she could please check on my order she came back asking could it be under a different name I told her no ma’am she said we don’t have your order no I’m sorry can we place a new order for you nothing will not be back.

A nearly 30 minute ordeal to order a BBQ plate and sandwich to go. I watched 3 people come in and order after I was seated waiting for my order and all 3 walked away with their orders while I was still seated waiting for mine. Another 2 orders went out and still waiting for mine. I tried to inquire about my order and the young lady who was supposed to be there in a working capacity simply ignored my requests. After that I was on me feet and at the counter trying to catch the attention of any employee other than her. I finally did and THAT lady went and fixed my order in less than 5 minutes. Long story short I chose not to tip since there was no service to tip for other than checking me out. I can only assume the atrocious way I was treated had something to do with the lack of a tip. I rarely go in this establishment and certainly had no prior interaction with the person who so pointedly did everything she could to be UNPLEASANT. During my extended wait I did have time to look the place over and it was filthy. I won't say I'll never eat at this location again as we live in a small town with few choices. I will say it will be far down on my list not because of the food but because of their poor choices in STAFFING and CLEANLINESS.
